The Opening Day Edit (contest?)

^thats a good point. im not really sure when to make this deadline now....i pmd mousseau, so hopefully this gets up and running.
 
well the deadline isnt great because a small number of us ski in ohio and we have no idea when we could open but if it was like the 20th thatd be great
 
i think this is a good idea. Contest or not. I'm still making an opening day edit at Abasin or Loveland. about 4 weeks left
 
I'm in, I dunno when opening day is for Grouse but I'll post it as soon as I know
I like this idea, lets get this goin with some sponsors and shit
 
like i said, if youre hill isnt open by the deadline, then there is at least one within a reasonable distance almost everywhere...
 
well would it have to be opening day or can it be like opening weekend or week too? it would be much better if everyone had a couple of days to film considering the fact that people would rather want to ski instead of film on the first few days of skiing from a long break
 
good point but maybe just bring a camera along, film everything and dont really think about the shot at all............might sound stupid though
 
Well shit Dain Stain. This is a sweet idea. If a sponser got invloved this could really legit. This could be a new contest for years to come.
 
could i include stuff from before opening day in my backyard? I have snow on the ground before the mountain opens?
 
mount snow has kidna fucked up this contest tho...that is, when can the opening day be used for this contest? technically "opening day" isnt until nov 1st or whenever they open the lifts to the public. but they opened the park last sunday, may have a lift running this weekend for the bunnyhill park...so when can we use "opening day" footage? anytime from now until the official opening day, or only from the last sunday when twa was the only ns member there?
