I really wish we could have skiing in the olympics. Then we could finally have a mathematical system to score runs. It seems tough now but if it goes to the olympics we can have a certain standard score for a switch 1440 and a certain score for a 540 with a mute grab. All of the "style" or "steese" stuff that everyone talks about would not factor in it and it would make judging so much better. then peopel could work on their steese in the backcountry for movies.

^how could it not be a good thing??? the whole world would learn about our sport. plus kids would have to stop doing drugs (i heard a lot of skiers do pot) which can only help our image. skateboarding should be in the olympics too. i have friends who skate and wish it was an olympic sport.

ok...they could maybe have halfpipe but leave slopestyle and shit to the pro's such as tanner and pep and candide and shit. the olympics would only be the canadian and us and shit teams and not the reckognized pro's. in my opinion, which most of you pribably dont care for...the onlympics should die or at least leave skiing alone!

There are so many useless sports on that list. If the olympics recognize curling and ryhtmic gymastics, then skiing halfpipe should be there too. I think people just want to take it a step at a time and just focus on getting halfpipe in and then try to get slopestyle in.

Why would halfpipe in the olympics screw up our sport. I think it would help it as all the people that don't know anything about the ski industry won't envision skiers as guys with tight pants skiing moguls with upright areials and speed suits for slalom. Im tired of people saying shit to me about skiing cause they don't know shit. It really doens't affect what i think about skiing or anything, but it's just annoying. People need to know what's happening in skiing, cause they really have no clue.
