The oldest person you've seen in the park

i saw this guy probably in his late 60's early 70's in the park looked like he hasn't bought new skis/equipment since the early 1980s hit a jump do a 360 and hit a few rails thought it was pretty cool figuring his age anyone see someone that old in the park?

I remember like 2 years ago I saw this really old dude with long white hair, goggles, and no shirt on just bombing jumps so far down the landing on a spring day. He hit a couple boxes too. Probably in his mid 60s I would have guessed.

there are always 70-80 year olds cruising through my local park between 9-10am to get first tracks. "I liked this run much better before it became a stupid snowboard trick hill" is something I've heard more than a few times

2 years ago in our yearly park jam, a random dude, I still remember bib number 69, that no one knew did just about a 1440, it was very hard to tell his age, because his face looked young, yet his beard was at least 1 and a half feet long. If I had to guess 35-40, which isn't old, but old for someone doing a 1440, I'll embed video that has a pic of him

disregard most of that, I hadn't seen the pic of him in a while, probably mid 30's

there's a snowboarder at my hill who has to be 50+ years old, and he throws 3s and hits a lot of the jibs... he's not just 50-50ing them either, he's hitting them full-on boardslide

In my case it wouldn't surprise me, this dude probably did so many drugs and drinking in his life time that he just looked that old. Dude was a borderline hippy.

Not park, but I met this guy at Alta last year who said he was 85 years old, and was aloud to just ski for free there because of his age. He said he goes there and skis for 2 weeks straight every year. Seriously one of the most chill old guys I've ever met at a ski hill. And he could rip carves and stuff like he was in his 20's.

At mount snow there used to be this 40ish guy who would strait air the inferno jumps(large park). I remember when I tried to do my first dub. I didn't have enough speed and stopped on the jump. Took the lift up and did it again, after that the people standing on the jump who saw me mess up the first time were all like "your a pussy you will never dub you fucking suck" then he came over and just went no he just stomped it and it was sick. Then they all stopped talking, silence for 30 secs and one of the kids go. "Can you do it again?" Big ups my older brother BIG UPS.

I saw this one guy, probably 60 something, on an Alpine board sending it off of jumps wearing bear fur gloves, snow pants with cow skin ass and knee coverings, and smoking a cigarillo. Best steez in the park that day.

My friends dad is late 40s and regularly throws down in main park in mammoth. Other than that I've seen a 70 year old guy throw a 3

A few years ago at Sugarbush there was a dude with a big white beard doing backies on the big jump. It was sick.

in 2012, I skied with a guy who was 37, 2 kids and set his life goal on landing his first 360 to feel a little closer to Candid Thovex.

He stomped his first rails and his first 360s with me that season.

I am willing to bet that these guys who people think are in the 60's-70's, and prob in their late 40's

No way is a guy who is 70 going to do anything that involves going off a decent sized kicker.

I am usually the oldest person in the park..30.

The NS community should be able to track down the oldest dude hucking a backflip... anyone have any ideas where to start?

also, pics or it didn't happen.

There can be some pretty dope powder stashes right at the edge of the woods at my mountain's park. As long as you stay out of the way

There are a couple kids whose dads got pulled into the park and actually slay. I'm good friends with this 38 year old guy too.

Fuck yeah I see this dude lapping inferno every time I'm at snow.

He's my hero

His name is Arty. I pulled up to the top of the jump line at park city the other day and he was standing there with some kids and he immediately asked me what the speed was, and i was like do i know you from mount snow? he said yes, then he told me he was listening to P.O.D. but usually he listens to eminem when he hits jumps. he's the man

I'm sure I'm not the oldest at 47, but here are my contribs from this year. Not my best efforts, but we are having another session this weekend.

Slightly over cooked back flip.

You are never too old to get inverted.
