Should be a very interesting Tour this year, especially after the shit following Landis' win last year. Anyone else following it? Who are you looking at to win it? I'd really love to see Hincapie at least on the pedestal, if not win it. Other possibilities could be Basso or Leipheimer. Dekker and Vinokourov have done well in the past, as well as Millar, but I don't think they'll cut it.

Awesome how it started in London this year, too. I've heard that they may plan to have the prologue in NYC one year in the future, that would be awesome!

tour de france is lame, cause most of the guys are on shit anyways. and im not jsut saying that either, my cuz knows lance armstrong's presonal trainer.

i don't follow it nearly as much as i used to, mainly because the sport has been so scarred by the EPO doping shit. pisses me off, it ruins the entire game. but i can't help but watch anyway.

do they care if you get 10th place. because if you dope like crazy and get 10th place and no one knows its like points for your team, kinda like nascar right?

starting in the US would suck so badly for everyone involved in it. Imagine having the prologue in the us, all the teams would have to ship their shit over, for 1 stage, then after 1 day, everything would have to go back, and jet lag would mess with the racers, there would have to be a few break days between the stage in the US, and France

besides, Americans just don't appreciate cycling. I'm a French-American, and i swear, the french side gets me interested in cycling, and really football (soccer)

me too, and that kid that was saying his bro knows lance trainer yeah I do to, I used to train with chris charmichal, Iv been in europe and raced all over, sure doping is there but who cars its just a part of the sport, and its about who is gonna get cought and who isnt.

i know there's some americans who appreciate, one of my friends from school races, but the general public doesn't seem to. Unless it's an American who's about to win it.

well this year's tour seems to have even more doping than ever! vinokourov was booted from the race a couple days ago (along with the rest of the Astana team), and now the long-time holder of the yellow jersey, michael rasmussen himself has been booted for lying about his whereabouts prior to the race, which is part of a system to try and prevent doping. while his lying does not prove that he had ever doped, he did neglect to follow simple race instructions, and deserves to be kicked. it bums me out because i was hoping for a nice clean win for rasmussen, he's a great rider who deserved it. vinokourov i'm also upset about, because he was also another great consistent rider. after being part of that major crash in the 2nd stage, he was all stitched up (in both knees and elbows), and i was surprised that he was able to continue, nevermind win a stage. well, turns out the only reason he won the stage was because of an illegal blood transfusion. it's easy to understand why he did it, because he was struggling as a result of his injuries beforehand. his sudden success definitely set off some alarms. so, cycling still seems to be in the dark ages of doping, even after a step=up of preventative systems to keep it clean. but it's great to see that the system seems to work to a point by getting rid of the dirty riders, right? and on the positive side, leipheimer has jumped from 6th to 3rd as a result of all the recent bootings. contador alberto of the discovery team is now in the yellow jersey, it'll be interesting to see if levi will devote his efforts to helping his teammate alberto hold the yellow jersey, or if he'll take it himself. as for me, i want levi to have it. go levi!

i think drugs should be aloude but there has to be limits so you can only have this high a leval of testroin etc... but if your under the levals then your good

My boy Kloden was gonna take it down until Vino ruined it for him. Its totally good how they are kicking everyone out though. Sport is trying to get itself clean. As of now, looks like Discovery will take another win. Hope Levi takes it though somehow.

Man first Jan Ulrich (last year) now Vino getting caught, these are some of my favourite riders. I pretty much only watch the Tour and am disgusted with how it's turning out. I think Rabobank did the right thing with Rasmussen, although they should have done it sooner if they could have. As for the tour? It is DEAD.

I've been following it... it's getting a real joke. For those of you who have followed you know what happened (Rasmussen no more in the tour, Contador suspicious etc.) Anyway every guy in the Tour is doped and cheats it's just that some are worse at cheating than others.
