The Official "What lens for should I get" thread

canon 10-22 is slower, variable aperture but has a better range. it also has a built in AF motor.

tokina 11-16 is 2.8 which is really nice, but the range isn't too great.

I think the 2 lenses have pretty similar image quality, you probably just need to decide on whether you want the extra zoom or faster constant aperture.
 
okay no more questions then about the 11-16, i am sold. I just gotta shovel a few more sidewalks then i will man up and buy it
 
You should have used my 24-105 this summer! I love the range, if only it was 2.8 with IS... But really, this lens is always in my bag and will be my go to lens when I can only choose one for general shots! Then again I do photos...
 
Never too late! You gonna work at windells this summer too right? Hopefully getting one of the park passes through secret sources if all goes as planned. I also wanna shoot with your 100mm so bad
