I've noticed that theres always a lot of threads about what type of spin is which. also people are always debating this under the video section. Because of this i got together videos of different types of spins. People can keep adding videos to explain what certain tricks look like.

only problem is that each person does it different so someones bio 7 might not look just like the one on that video witch might just confuse people more

I would say pretty good except no one says "underflip 7", once you get past a 5 on an underflip it just becomes a D-Spin.

that's why we have these forums. We'd have nothing to talk about if people agreed about tricks. Speaking of which, that bio 7 is a bit sketchy. Nice compilation though.

finaly some one made this, but you will still always be remembered as the guy who had the "boning the girl while dancing" thread

i was thinkin about doin this but then i was like WOW I dont feel like spending half an hour looking for perfect examples of spins. But props to you for doin it.

That rodeo is a flat 5.

And that the difference between an overflip and a misty is where you put the 180. In a misty its like lincoln loop then all 180 but in an overflip its 90 then lincoln then 90.

I don't even know that to say about that underflip 7.

your trick guide is stupid, why put limits on a sport that is all about not havin limits/rules. the way our skiing is done, is done differently by every single person, that why its unique.

did you just do this so you wouldnt get banned? but goods vids helps to clear things up a bit and this should be modfied into like a trick tips section on ns or something, that would help tons of kids out

I think a trick guide is a great idea, I really do. I've tried a few myself. A few notes though:

The cork 3 and Flat 3 are really one in the same, but in the flat 3 he landed way backseat cause he went too off axis.

Underflip = Stupid. An underflip 5 is really just a rodeo 5. It's really confusing having two definitions of the same trick. Rodeo is used much more, so underflip should be phased out. If there is a difference (as some people like to claim) show me a good video and I'll put my foot in my mouth.

Also, the bio looked more like some odd kind of cork, not a bio. Bio spins are corks done on the forward axis, instead of the back. Let me find my old thread, it had a great example.

Nope, perfect rodeo, he went iverted and everything, a flat 5 would be just like the flat 3 + 180 when it came around.

i would agree...

it's not obvious because he doesn't throw strongly over the top BUT compare the misty 5 and the rodeo 5 vid. same rotation just set differently.

the underflip 7 is a rodeo 7. underflips are 90 - leftside lincoln - 90. very similar to a rodeo 5.

everything else was pretty good but the flat 3... i don't think anyone really means to get that flat on a three off that kinda jump.

oh and the d-spin is good but not that obvious because it's off a moguls kicker so he gets upside down real quick.

nah that was an UNDERFLIP 7 not a dspin, watch he does a clean underflip he just happens to pop another 180 rotation, a dspin rolls totally the other way when spinning a dspin.
