As summer approaches, we all, as skiers, plunge deep into depression and begin searching for anyway to fill our cravings to ski. Alas, we created this competition to help our fellow Newschoolers cope with this depression and hopefully inspire some to keep skiing over the warm months. So here’s the deal...

There’s Gonna Be Three Sections:

Best Backyard Edit:

This encompasses anything done in your backyard, whether it be step-on, astro-turf or ice rink snow; and if you live in a city the handrails in that city DO NOT count as your backyard.

Best Urban Edit:

Lets take it to the streets! Handrails, Bomb-drops, ledges, and whatever else are all in play here.

Best Camp Edit:

If your lucky enough to be heading out to camp this summer make sure to bring your camera. These edits have to be shot on location at a camp (show banners or other evidence) or in the public parks on the glaciers.

ALL FOOTAGE MUST BE FROM THE SUMMER!!!

Rules Rules Rules:

- All edits must be at least 1 minute long.

- Entries for all three competitions are due by August 1st.

- Multiple people or “crews” can be in each video (This Is Not A Requirement.)

Judging:

The judges are Mr.Bishop, Bons, joshbyrant, Eastcoastjibber, eastAR5, Sean., Cosco., and Genome. The reason we aren’t allowing all of Newschoolers to vote is because the voting would get skewed because of people playing favorites.

You can enter an edit for each category if you want.

There will also be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place rankings, but only 1st will get the prizes.

i cant wait...i besta get going...atleast the deadlines expanded cause i sure as hell cant sesh til end of school and plus i will have my license...YES
 
The winner from each category will get prizes. There won't be an overall winner because it's too hard to pick one overall winner when the categories are so different.
 
When you finish your edit, you have to upload it to Putfile.com or something, and send it to me. Then, a seperate cult will be made for all of the judges. After all the voting is done and winners are established, I'll make a thread with all the edits and saying all the winners.
 
OK im in charge of the sponsors and all that. Liberty is sending a pile of shirts hats stickers, jibij is hooking it up with sometype of prize pack, ec headware is yet to be discussed prolly a costom hat for each winner, and deject is sending over sutff from their new line so winners will be some of the first to wear it
