What a fucking epic movie this was. Seriously under-appreciated to this day. Such a dope intro. I dare say...nearly monumental. I remember the first time I heard that fucking AWESOME German punk song (I think it was used in the trailer as well), I have it on my computer but I forget what its called, best intro song ever! Haha and I mean c'mon, how can you not love a movie with that features Mickael and Tanner geeking on caps for half of Tanners seggy. Dave Levin made a movie about the soul of skiing, whether he meant to or not. Great goddamn flick. Inspired me to make movies. For me, Scandalous is in a league with few others, Royalty, Forward & 13. APPRECIATE NOW SLUTZ!
 
actually levin posted on here around last summer saying he had around 10,000 copies on vhs sitting in his moms garage and said to give him $5 if you wanted one.

where's he been, i need a copy.
 
Fuckkyyeaaa the purple tape is awesome!! Royalty was on a Yellow one. Levin and Iberg know whats up.
 
i'll go ahead and claim i was the first to order it...newschoolers ad in the begining is epic haha.
 
I wish I could have seen the movie I've only saw the trailer and then buy blunt immediatly because I was one year later. It's seem like the best movie ever I do agree
 
I'd pay to see some of these movies again, all the VHS ones I had died. Maybe NS can hold a fundraising event and stream them for donators?
 
yeah my copies of scandalous! and blunt are long gone. id love to get them back, especially on dvd. id gladly shoot Levin some dough for a couple dvd copies
 
I would do the same. Anybody with connection to Levin willing to talk to him and find out if he can make it happen?
 
Mammothpunks is obviously pretty close with Dave L. Maybe try and grab Levin's email or something?

Haa yea that was jonny D from poorboyz. funny how levin ended up working for he a few years later. i have the origional copy kicking around on miniDV somewhere so dvds could be made if levin is down.
 
I bet you could sell atleast a handful. I know I'd want atleast 2 copies. I'm sure just about everyone in this thread would take one...and I'm also sure that once everyone found out taht you could buy Scandalous on DVD they would want one too (just thinking of my buddies that don't read NS too often). Might be worth it.
 
I wouldn't minda DVD copy as my tape is getting pretty worked.

Duncan, I cannot state my level of involvement with Scandalous! That's there for you to wonder about.

And the opening song is "Nahrenfrieheit" (spelling obviously in question as I am at work and have no access to my playlist) by Notausgang.
 
The BLUNT trailer... now that is a piece that will stand the test of time. Scanadlous was doope too though. mammothLOVE
 
I have Blunt on DVD, it's at my parents house. I doubt Dave would be alright with it going up on google video or youtube because he has probably sold the rights to some extreme(!!!) television station or some such crap. I will try to get a hold of him though and mail someone the DVD if you guys want to put it online.
