Womp. Looks like the southern resorts are gonna lose some snow in the next few hours. Maybe a sweet refresh for the northern resorts??
 
waterville valley was a valley of water today... =(
park was still dope nonetheless... i like that place more everytime i go
 
I was at sunapee yesterday and it poured all day, The park will still nice though, hard takeoffs and soft landings. the way it should be!
 
What do people think about Friday's storm? How far north is the liquid going to get?

(Im in college and have no Tv or internet so i cant check, i even had to post this using my grnadmother's typewriter)
 
this dam rain is gonna cost me $400. I got a condo booked at killington this weekend :(

should i not even go up there?
 
yea?

i just found out i got the insurance on the trip so i CAN back out if i want to. But it is the last chance i got to ski this year. Maybe i should just go and make the best of it.

i only get to VT like twice a year, id be so upset if i cant ski the glades thats what i go there for.

i guess warm and rain isnt as bad as wind and ice. thanks man
 
Rain sucks cause it melts the snow, but skiing in the rain is dope bc there's no lift lines and the park is empty :)
 
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU I hate rain. Oh well at least I had the most epic pow day of my life on tuesday :]
 
rain is fun to hit jumps in because the landings are nice and soft and there are no gapers/ snowboarders sitting in the landing because they all stay inside when it rains. rails suck though because the rain makes them sticky
 
any updates from the peeps who live up there?

last i heard it was supposed to stop raining and start snowing by 1pm
 
i got lucky with this weekend. all the rain they called for was snow at killington. get it while you can!
 
Killy did not suck yesterday. 4-5" of new snow. Bear was crud skiing at its finest over on Devils Fiddle. Totally edgable and rippable. K1 side was lighter snow and some good tree skiing. Ice layer underneath, but again, totally rippable.

Anyone who bailed on the weekend missed out on a solid day on Sunday.
 
^^^ yea man! sat was ok but sunday was real nice.

Most the glades were still roped off but once u ducked under them the glades were very fun, kinda sketchy on some double black glades because of the ice underneath the fresh snow but still fun.

a lot less crowded sunday too, what a day!
