So some people might be thinking their job sucks or maybe they want some insight to a better summer job. so post your job (and where it is) and add any comments about the job, i'll start:(no hating)

prep cook at tony romas, 10 bucks an hour including tips

it seems like working there is exactly like the movie waiting minus the penis showing game, chill managers and half price food for employees. sometimes there is no time to take a break though if there is alot to make. Hot Waitreses

Construction starting at $10 an hour, but I should be up to $12-14 by the end of the summer. It should be pretty sweet because I get to work outside with a few of my friends and make $500+ a week.

I'm a vet tech at a local vet emergency hospital for the summer...starting at $15/hour and working up to $17-$18...pretty excited about it.

Maitenance staff at a lake in upstate ny. $9 an hour plus FREE housing and 100% of the food is free too, including snacks. All i do is mow laws or fix boats until 4, then go party with my cousins and friends. pretty ill job.

Coke distributer, 7.50 for stocking. Might work for a different beer distributer for 8.50 for stocking instead.

still workin at sportchek. been about 9 months now. started off selling skis, boards, hockey gear, winter shit.. and now its blades, bikes, golf, and other summer equipment. it's not too bad, commission has its ups and downs. a good day i'll make $20 an hour, and a bad one i'll make minimum. usually it's right around 10-12 per hour, since those reaalllly good days are rare. best i've ever done was selling 4k worth of goods in a 7 hour shift, and at 5% commission, that's 200 dollars in 7 hours. so yeah, it can be aiight. stressful though. having to meet a sales quota, always having to worry about selling....... get's irritating. but like i said, i've been there for 9 months and am pretty familiar with the place, dealing with customers, etc etc, so it's all good

nother thing i didn't mention, being one of the 'veteran' dudes (since most people come and go every few months) i get to work pretty much whenever i want - shifts are very flexible - and i get to poach customers from all the newbs that don't know what the hell they're talking about. muahhaha!

the water department in my town...its sweet. 40 hrs a week minimum, outta work around 3, then i take a nap, and wait till all my friends get out of work and im good to go for the night

I get to work in a research lab in a hospital and do experiments with rats and test an experimental ultrasound device.

I am working at the local candy store (SUGARHIGH CONSTANTLY!) and I'm babysittign for my next door neighbor's twins. Man,, this summer is gunna suck
