As a current AmeriCorps volunteer, here's my current favorite:

like my brother said. i picture Glenn Beck dressing up as "v" at night and running around his neighborhood at night scaring young children...true story.

I enjoy watching/listening to the guy. sure he's a little outrageous at times, but he does have good points...so hate on me.
 
Funny how this thread was created today... I just got back from a taping of his show. My mother and I are both going to be shown on the show, she speaks twice, and I don't think my talking points made the air because of technical problems but I might be wrong. I'm in a teal and plaid shirt. It airs 5pm tomorrow on FOX News. The show's basis is on mothers across the nation and their fear for their children's future. Interesting to watch, even if you hate Glenn Beck or consider yourself liberal. Just thought I'd share./claim.
 
i literally agree with 95% of what this guy says. he says it how it is, doesnt sugar coat anything for the average persons ears, and definately doesnt tell them bullshit like alot of other people.
 
Why would you propagate this mans fear inducing conservative nonsense. How can you give him and the ever becoming insular and secular right this kind of fodder. The dudes a self brainwashed nut.
 
I respectfully disagree with you. He can get a little hyped up and angry and look a little insane, but can you blame him? If I were in his position, I would go crazy from all the ignorance he has to deal with on the daily. This man is a genuinely good guy. Dobies, I agree with you. To Rowen, watch the show today, tell me if you think anything that is said is unreasonable. These women are speaking the truth: real, American mothers who are working tirelessly to raise their children and make sure that our future will not be doomed because of the rash decisions our government is making today.

lol, too bad he is tremendously successful. The left wing loves to pick apart Beck, primarily because they have absolutely no one who can match his success and prominence with the american public. That might also explain why fox news destroys in the ratings all the time.

I have a real problem with anyone on cable news, no matter the network. 24 hour news corporations have to beat each other out and have the one story playing all the time thats going to attract more viewers. Thus, it becomes the norm for them to 'out-do' each other and get more and more ridiculously biased or crazy opinion pieces, watch this or you may die stories and occasionally made up bullshit. This isnt real reporting, its fodder for the giant axe that is splitting this country apart and irreparably dividing the right from the left. News should just give you the facts - our nations people are very literate and educated compared to the rest of the world, and if we're the greatest country on Earth, we should be able to draw our own conclusions and spark our own debates and political change without charlatan figureheads.
 
Um... I was at a taping of his show yesterday. It is not scripted. I had a full view of his teleprompter, he barely followed it at all. Every show has a plan, has a "script". So that argument is completely unreasonable.I spoke with him off camera, and not only is he extremely bright, but he really believes and cares about our nation. Can't say the same for any liberals these days.
 
Haha I love it whenever Beck says something absolutely retarded and Olbermann calls his shit out. It's almost a bi-weekly occurrence.

Its basic psychology, kinda like how you can like one sport team and hate there rivals. SOOO if you dont like Beck then simply shut your fucking ears and dont listen to him. sole difference being, when olbermann breaks down whatever beck is spewing, he uses FACTS to prove glenn wrong.
glen beck spits off rants about whatever he wants and rarely uses said facts. he is an opinionated nutcase who has successfully convinced a larger part of the less intelligent spectrum of our country that what he is saying is ABSOLUTELY FACT. which is scary.

of course his opinion is different than mine, because i base mine on facts, reason, and logic. all of which you are lacking if you believe what this fucktard is saying.
 
to back up my point and to suppress some rage, i want you to know that yes i believe olbermann, nancy grace, etc all have their own personal opinions that they spew off from time to time as well, which im sure enrages alot of conservatives. the point of what i was trying to say is that it is ridiculously easy to break down most of glenns arguments that people our touting all over the place with logic and some research.

ehh idk i think we need people like beck. im not saying i agree with everyhting, but i find some of the points he raises interesting, and he seems like a smart guy.. usually. that being said he is a complete nut.
 
I'm not even going to bother responding to your arguements. All I'm going to say is that I think it's very sad that my karma dropped 8 points today because of this thread. That's sad. Lowering my karma because I like a certain show? It can't have been based off of hate because I believe I was very respectful to anyone who I disagreed with. This is sad, ns. Come on. Grow up.

One thing I will respond to, Kornn101, I resent you for saying that completely uncalled for comment about my future children. I'd expect you to act more mature than a senior in high school, apparently you're incapable of that.

I've never been in the military, never been overseas, never seen some of the things that the "great generation" has seen, but i do like to think of myself like this. I allow different opinions and views to actually enter my head. there is where i decipher them right or wrong, unlike some of you who look at right or left winged talk show hosts and instantly block out their beliefs. Now, in saying this I truly think that Glenn Beck, Bill O'reilly, Sean Hannity, and even some of the stuff Michael Savage says are very true. sad; but very, very true. These are the reasons i watch these guys, what other Liberal really gives off the vibe that they CARE about this country. Not to mention we have president Obama going around to other nations and apologizing for things that we have done in the past...? what is this going to solve, what kind of image is this portraying to the world? A bad one. And no, dont come at me with "your a racist" remarks. I DO NOT like president Obama, and NO im not racist. Crazy right? / rant.
 
Oh and where do you get your news? CNN, MSNBC, ABC? because if you do then your contradicting yourself, They're all VERY liberal media stations... the general media is bullshit dude. and at least fox has both liberals and conservatives in all their shows to debate. the media is fucked bro, and thats a typical response from someone like you.
