Level 1 just announced their new upcoming movie "Pleasure" today, thoughts?

This reminded my first IF3 (and first ski premiere at the same time), Eye Trip was one of the first film I saw there, and the whole theater was barking when B-Dog's segment came up. I wonder where I'll see Pleasure for the first time this year, hope it's not on Itunes. Premieres are the best.

Anyway stoked to see LJ and Khai's stuff, LJ seemed to have worked hard this year for a segment, and I'm always down for new Khai footage.

I wonder how much new street stuff will Will have, he was probably burnt out from Real Ski

My call is some slightly less gnarly, slightly more tech and mind blowing shenanigans. Sort of like stepping on a little Scott Stevens terrain. I'd take that any day.
 
Reading the description on the website got me super hyped! Hoping to make it to a premier, but if not I'm preordering it anyways haha!

Agree...probably puts out the most under-rated segments every year. Kinda flys under the radar now compared to when he was big in the park scene

His and Duncan's segments in Less are so damn underrated.
 
How do they have shots of Keegan if he just won SU like a month ago? Was he the pre determined winner, secretly shooting with Level 1 all season? It's a conspiraski

So hyped! Athlete list looks dope! Stoked to see what Keagan and Jonah do with their first year with Level 1. Level 1 truly is becoming great again. First Small World and now this!

you haven't even seen the movie yet... but I bet it will be ok, we are all going to be ok. I'm glad you're ok with it though
 
Trailer is hidden in level 1 calendar. It's a surprise though so you guys have to find it for yourself.
 
Overall I liked it a lot. Magnus and Par went in. Khai, LJ, and Jonah start the movie with some of the most tech urban I've ever seen. Thayne Rich.... Great movie don't want to spoil too much.
 
More athletes can be featured with the whole location separations, i think it gives more opportunity for groups of skiers to go places together. Thus the skiers try crazier shit with their friends around. I like the location separation. The narration was sick, the 'nature documentary/ science video' vibe was a good match. Of course the best part was the company. :)
 
Just watched it. Eye Trip is my favourite Level 1 movie by far, so whoever said that this was the best movie since got me hyped. However, I can't help but feel disappointed by the end result. It's a very similar to the feeling I had after watching Small World, and it's hard to place a finger on what went wrong. While the film itself has personality and isn't filled with the usual, boring commentary, something was simply amiss.

I personally think Level 1 needs to go back to rider segments. Other than the Russia and maybe Sami/Rob segments, I just didn't feel the cohesiveness the older Level 1 movies used to have. I may be off here, but Level 1 just didn't enchant me for yet another year. I don't regret giving them my $10, I just hope they can make something that feels instinctively, and not just on paper
 
Theme was meh, skiing was killer, wish that bitch would shut her fucking face. Tanner Rainville is probably one of the most under rated dudes out there when it comes to the big lines.
 
My favorite Level 1 movie yet!

Magnus and Peyben's segment had such a dope vibe! You could really feel how much fun they had. Keegan went off at snowbird. That whole segment was sick!
 
Wish there was more urban but Khai lj Jonah peyben will and Magnus killed it. Got bored through a lot of the other parts though. Also I don't like the location segments.

I had the biggest smile on my face for all of Sami and robs part and the whole Japan bit.

Nothing better then friends getting rad together
