Hey, I'm going to help you with every park skiers nightmare... SHINBANG. I guess I'll get right into it. Once again this is for BAD shinbang, like hurts too much to ski bad.

As soon as you get shinbang stop skiing as soon as you can, If you need to ski/walk more un-buckle your boots and push your tongues out and ski/walk very slow and easy.

Once you get home your new best friend is ice. Ice your shins for 20 mins. Then off for 20 mins, Massaging and stretching is good for your 20 min off time. Repeat this for a few hours.

Once your done icing, Stretch your ankles by pushing your toe and ankle down like this (\) like a ballerina, Then pull up as far as you can, So your toes are close to your shin.

Unfortunately, That's all I have and all you can do is Repeat these steps! Thanks for checking my guide out!

Why would i want to get rid of Shinbang? It's so fucking great having it. MY question is, how do i get it as quick as possible.

official guide to shinbang? you didn't list how you get shinbang, how to avoid it and so on. very informative guide keep up the wonderful work

Never ski barefeet, high friction. If you still get shinbang, get yourselft some fulltilts.

If you still have some,

quit

I found this quite helpful. I use full tilts and I still get shin bang pretty bad. I also need to improve my jumping technique a lot. The easiest way to avoid getting shinbang, take off jumps with forward pressure and pop, forward pressure when turning. Shin bang is from leaning too far back seat

This, also tighten your boots up very tight for more support and less movement, or you can get a booster strap which will flex some and works for some people

Proper fitting boots is obviously the most important thing. I have always had proper fitting boots and I had mad shin bang though. There are other things you can do. I actually made a video on this a couple years ago because my room mate was making like 600 bucks a month for skateboarding tips on youtube and I wanted to try haha.

If you want to watch a 8 minute video of me on my bed explaning shinbang I can try and find it.

well my first post i was just trying to help or let you know for future reference but then you asked if i was happy, which indeed i was, now I'm hoping for you to rage out again. it was pretty funny in your thread

meh, I tried that with stiff tongues, made it worse. switched to more flexible tongues and it cured itself

Don't land backseat. I had mad shinbang last year, this year I had a little maybe 1 or 2 days of the season. Fix your landing and your skiing and problem solved.

no, i'm not gonna rage out again. that was a one time thing and I'm not stupid enough to do it again. that's the perk of being a human - you learn from your mistakes. now shoo

Speaking of shin bang I am currently sitting on the computer at camp because I smashed my shin really hard trying front flips on a super steep jump today, I'm icing it and it's so cold and painful. I certainly have severe bruising and maybe some sort of damage to the bone. That'll ruin my week.

Shin bang sucks a big one. :(
