THE OFFICIAL: College Football 2013 Thread (brought to you by Nike)

The refs fucked it up for sure but the first time I saw it I thought he just put the ball on the ground. I had no idea he had taken a knee. Most awkward kneel I've ever seen

The knee down was awkward but even still I don't see a point why the official delayed the snap of the ball with 3 seconds left (seen below). Even if nothing had changed, had the official not denied Wisco from snapping the ball we could have spiked it with a few seconds left.

It blows my mind that they can just run off at the end of the game with no explanation no review. The inaccurate reception was bad enough for the Packers... now this shit....come on

I was praying for that bama loss. Oh well. Ucla dominated Nebraska that second half. It was almost as sad for Nebraska as it was watching nevada literally get physically destroyed by Florida state. And of course, Oregon with the dominating win

Your probably referring to the Rose Bowl where Russell Wilson spiked the ball too late but we lost that game off a fumble that defied physics not cuz Russell spiked the ball too late

haha paul finebaum just blasted him on sportscenter, 'he's the Miley Cirus of college football, no talent but we keep looking at him', 'People wondered why he got the Raiders job, the job at Tennessee, and particulary the job at SC, and the answer was always, his father. Now that he doesn't have his father he is nothing.' 'A complete failure'

Fucking shit stanford is going to beat Oregon then there will be no pac 12 teams in the national championship.... again.

You really think so? Stanford is oregons biggest target right now. And after that loss to Utah, and oregons huge win (again) Stanford will just be another team they destroy

That's what they said last year when WA beat Stanford.

What needs to happen is for Oregon to beat Stanford and UCLA- go to the BCS bowl and beat Bama. Standford needs to win all their other games - go to the Rose Bowl and win. Meanwhile WA and UCLA need to play bowl games against competitive teams and win. Only if that happens will some of the East Coast bias in college football start to wain.

a late suck my dong to all the Husky fans out there. Win The Decade ya'll.

speaking of which, my Ducks will be putting on for breast cancer awareness this weekend.

oh, and Stanfurd suck, let's go 12 and oooooohhhhhhhhhhhh.

Oregon will lose to one team they are not supposed to. That way all the SEC nobpolishers can justify not playing Bama against someone who can win, and continue to pretend the PAC12 is irrelevant football.

Anyway, yes Oregon, Phil Knight and Nike will lose one game they shouldn't this season. WA had a chance until the fourth, when Oregon put their foot down. If it comes to Stanford that will really mess the pac12 up. We are about to see how good UCLA really is, and they are two weeks out from the ducks. Or you all could lose to WSU this weekend which is both appetizing for all the wrong reasons and so impossible it's possible.

It goes to the selection committee. But yes, they have a strong enough schedule that going undefeated would put them in the BCS Championship game.

Yeah don't see that happening. We've got the best player in the nation at quarterback and a top 10 defense, both things we haven't had in the past. Feels like our year. And mariota4heisman

The BCS 'computer' will determine who the 'best' two teams are nationally, and they play in the BCS bowl game. This is why the Irish got picked over Oregon last year and than got destroyed, and Bama got another win. The east coast bias is disgusting. Prepare for Louisville vs Alabama so all the east coasters don't have to acknowledge the PAC 12 and can continue to over rank the entire SEC. Might be a little embarrassing for them if the PAC 12 wins both games in Pasadena this winter, as well as the Holiday and Alamo bowls.

UCF FUCK YEA. BIGGEST GAME IN HISTORY. UPSETTING FORMER NO.8 LOUVILLE. HELL YEA. SO STOKED.

ALL CAPS IS NECESSARY.

So the BCS computer just released its first rankings of the year today. Who determined the rankings before this week?

AP poll voted on by the press, and the coaches poll by the coaches. BCS rankings are a combination of both those polls and the BCS computers. F the BCS doe.

FSU deserved to be higher than you guys. Win your next 2 and pray Miami keeps it close or you can kiss a shot at the MNC goodbye.

Let's not forget about the team with the longest win streak in the nation right now.. Where are my OSU fans at?

If you think an undefeated Pac 12 champ doesn't get in the NCG over FSU you are sorely mistaken. FSU currently leads us in the BCS by .003 points, a win over the #12 team next week will take care of that.

Also FSU's win against Clemson doesn't look all that impressive after that SC game. Clemsons signature win to get them so highly ranked was against South Carolina, the same SC team that lost to Tennessee, who you'll recall was handed their worst defeat in 100 years by none other than the Oregon Ducks.

and Oregons signature win is.....washington? Yea, three loss washington. Great win

Judging a team like that is stupid though.

I agree. Bama is only #1 because of previous years, I think that there shouldn't be any rankings until the 4th or 5th week. Based on everyones performance this season as of this past weekend the rankings should be:

1. FSU

2.Oregon

3.Bama
