There we go, we now officially have our first entry for the Broadband UberOpen! Kohl Schoening is the keener that had the brass balls to get it up first. Good go at it for sure, I can already tell that the level of this contest is going to be wicked.

Don't be afraid to throw in your entry, as in the end this really is just all about fun. You've got until next Monday (Jan 14th) at 8pm EST until judging opens. So enter now, or get out there and do some shooting!

this should be dope. guaranteed entries are just gonna crazy, and kohl's puts the contest off to a good start, def some stylish tricks.

Yeah exactly... we designed this to give people with no snow a chance to get in!

Summer footage, old footage... I mean if its only one feature, put in something a little weak and try to make up for it with the rest of your tricks. Or go and like beg the park staff to make you something...

Vimsen had put in an entry, but it was just a general edit of him skiing. I'm sorry, but the video must fit the fromat as put out in the rules!

There's enough shots in there to use to make up a run... does someone want to help him re-edit it? Come on, deadline is Monday so you've got the weekend to get on it!

Where's the entries guys? I hope that we see a whole bunch over the weekend.... this is a great opportunity here lets see something!

I would re-edit it for him in a heartbeat, just need more rail shots i believe? Id do it for sure though.
 
That edit was siiick, I can't stop watchin it. But me and my boddy are gonna shoot all sunday to get it on for monday last second, so don't worry you'll have two more coming hopefully!
 
HEY GUYS!

I talked with Mr. BIshop and he said he was okay with it if everyone else was okay with it because it is up to the community, but I ended up getting into the US open and it was rediculously expensive and is going to keep me from entering in a couple other comps because I can't really afford them, I hadn't heard about the uber open when I signed up and I tried to see if I could get a refund but its too late, could I enter in the uber broadband open then sell my spot if I placed? It would still be giving an extra spot to someone so I wouldn't be taking someone elses place since I'm in anyway and I would still have to earn it ( get voted for and place) and then I have a chance of not being out 250 dollars and can actually compete this season. I would also sell the spot for 200 meaning I WOULDNT be profiting, but just wouldnt be as in debt.
Basically if you guys are down with it, i would have a chance at not getting into the open for free like everyone else entering the uber open, but would have a chance at not having to pay a rediculous amount of money to be in (but I'd still be paying 50$) PLEASE consider this for me!! Bishop and I agreed the judges aka the community should decide. thanks for your consideration guys, much appreciated

word, yeah I would be selling the voucher one that has been given to NS for the comp because like I said they wouldnt let me refund the one that I paid for

yea i'm already gonna be in the open so i have no incentive to enter. but if other prizes were to be added...
 
probably cos he's not from north america. i hadn't heard of him either till i read the update about the line euro team. and i'm from europe.
 
how'd you not hear of him??? he was on the cover page of newschoolers for a cover week with a few other guys...it was the one where i believe they had all there ski stuff and they were in the church
 


I wanted to get some park shots last week and this week end but I had to get some urban shots for next years movies and the park were closed during the weeks.

hopefully you'll like what I made up with some older footage.
