The OC may be popular, but I still don't see a point to the show, a bunch of rich fuckers that live in Orange County....what a shitty life...and they are always running into problems, the show is overhyped.

Its just constant drama that keeps you hooked. Its comparable to the adicctiveness of the book The Davinci Code. Plot twists are ALWAYS happening..so if you wan't to see what happens, since the plot twist is so intense, you have to go on. Thats basically how the O.C. got so many people hooked. Its constant drama and plot twists, but not in a lame soap opera-like manner.

I watched this show tonight and it was cheezy as. It's a horrible show with some good looking people (that comic book chick is pretty hot). That's all. The so called plot twists are extremely lame. The characters are convincingly fictional. So much about this show angers me. I did though, enjoy this chick getting hit by a truck speeding through a residential area at night and hitting a car that stopped in the middle of the interestion JUST after her light turned red. Thursday night TV should be spent watching David Suzuki's The Nature of Things at 7:00 on CBC and The Hour at 8:00 on CBC newsworld.
