Lots of skis have been discussed on NS here this past winter...but what do you feel is THE hottest new ski model in 2005?

 
SURFACE!! their skis have the best graphics and the best looking shape.

and why aren't they included in the front page ski poll?!?!

 
why do people think ninthward are so much better then liberty, all my friends that got them snapped them in one week for one kid, and the second week for the other, they were then forced to buy newww skis because they could not send back there ninthwards

NS included a ski company that dosen't even have skis, another that hasn't updated in over a year, I'm glad these guys know whats going on

 
obviously everyone has thier own skiing style and preferences, but there are still certain ski models which get more attention.

what about the fujatives, public enemies or ARV's? those skis seemed to be quite popular...

 
umm, well ill be anti conformist and say i liked how the foils rode. but i think im getting big troubles because there sick powder skis, even tho im not so hot on the dynastar name, istill think that it will be a good powder ski.

wow there seems to be alot of people liking the SURFACE SKIS I'll have to check them out more closely. If you say they are cool than they must be.

surface must have shit loads of money!! i heard they pay each person $2,500 a post. newschoolers is such an important marketing target, they've got to be sure to get the name out so all the kids will buy it!!!

 
yeah I'm surprised that so many people mention surface too. don't know if its a good NS ski of the year though, not many people have skied them.

i ski out in colorado and utah for 2 weeks a piece every year. never seen a pair and never heard of anybdoy with a pair. all i have heard on this site is that they suck

 
well no I read the threads on the surface skis and people are stoked about them. It's always the same people though, so not very representative.

The fact remains that hardly anyone has skied them. Can't be the ski of the year then.

I made this name, when I didn't even know what armada was, and didn't have any twintips. And why does it matter anyway, I'm not going to change my recognized username, just because Line isn't my favorite company.

yeah I know what you're saying. this thread isn't about the best ski for whatever though, it's about the most popular ski of last season. and that's a different thing. you have to admit that some skis get lots of hype and others don't, right?

 
that would be Blake Nyman. super sick and smooth. wears tight pants and tight jeans while skiing. yes he went to the jon olson invite.
