The NS 2017/18 season review

Pretty much every thread is the same these days so I'm just gonna summarise the last 6 months or so on this single thread

1. People discussed and over-complicated the so-called future of the ski industry in general... honestly must have seen about 20 of these threads

2. Overall NS majority votes Candide as the best (freestyle) skier in history

3. Some kid broke his brand new ON3Ps

4. A con artist tried to run across Africa barefoot

5. The so-called 'new wave' movement being blown well out of proportion, at least 600 pointless threads posted

6. Andri Ragettli got a load of hate

7. NS fucked me over by overwhelmingly tipping Harlaut to win gold at the Olympics, what a waste of money that was

8. The rise (and fall?) of gucciman7

Anything else remotely interesting happen that I've missed?

You got most of it. Another notable topic was Elizabeth Swaney, which I think then led to the thread Sexism in Skiing where the prize purses of female/male freestyle skiers was debated.

Overall a very slow year on NS. The forums continue their spiral into obscurity and obsolescence.
