The no snow fat ski guy.

Fat, rockered skis are amazing on hot days. My daily’s were 107 but now I’ve got some 112s too and I have a feeling I will be taking the 112s out a lot on hot days

Only ski I've touched in over 44 days on snow this year was a Magic J. 127 underfoot, 180cm about 5 or 6 inches over my head. Park, pow, slush, trees, everything. Big skis are a lifestyle

Been ripping the og Blackops 118 as a daily for a few seasons, but picked up some SFBs, so gonna be a skinny ski gaper next season.

Has the 118 changed at all since it’s inception? I skied the 20/21 ski this past season and it was not at all the “burly fun charger” that people make it out to be, I kinda hated it tbh. Was the OG one stiffer?

I’ve noticed that a lot of ski reviews are very subjective

Lotta old heads in Jackson Hole ride fully rocketed pow skis everyday all season for that float ability and quick turn radius. McConkey’s K2 pontoons in particular have a cult following ??

I don't think they've changed it, but it's not as burly as everyone says it is, which is why I like them.

There’s just too much variation in the words used to describe skis, especially outside of professional reviewers.

I dont consider the b ops a burly ski at all, it’s actually a very easy to ski fun ski, it’s just damp and can bust through some chop, in wet cement like snow I find the tips a lil soft for a ski so progressively mounted.

I'll do switch ups, surface swaps, and spin up to about 4 out, but nah techy has never been my cup of tea. I like the big slow tweaky tricks

I rock 120 underfoot skis in spring slush. They handle slush great in my opinion, plow right through that shit

112's here for all conditions. Honestly, I hate the way narrow skis get pushed around in pushed around slush.

Lol does anybody remember in like 2009 or so, people would ask you if you bought out the pow skis and you're riding like 85mm waist full camber park skis? We were, at the time, those people who always had the wide skis.

Honestly have had some of my best spring days on my biggest, stiffest skis... tougher in bumps but ALL time on groomers and wind buff chalk/slush

Yeah dude. I do remember those days. I remember skiing breck in 2010 and I was the guy with “pow skis” because I was on AR6s haha

I was thinking about it today and I realized that I think 95 is skinny and I was looking at some of my skis thinking “Man... 112 looks kinda skinny underfoot”. Wow have times changed

I cant say anything about 120-130 skis, but my 107s were a ton of fun most of this season in pa

i think i would thoroughly hate a pow ski for anything harder than soft groomer though

I get hit with that out east when I’m on a storm rider 88 , but 1cm is pow here so ??‍♂️

I agree completely, too catchy in those conditions. Honestly just don’t like being that quick edge to edge, isn’t my personal preference— I’ll never ski on anything under 100 underfoot again most likely

My Lumberjacks are probably the favorite ski in my line up. They are also my sharpest pair of skis.... so yea they are multi purpose.

Me likey full rocker, no matter what width.

There's a guy at Snowbird who rides these consistently in almost any conditions:
