idk about any body else but im going skiing and i couldnt even sleep last night literally zero hours of sleep its like the night before christmas i am to pumped anybody else like this?

But if you don't go to sleep on Christmas Eve there is no time for Santa to come and you won't get any presents.

Last year Santa came through our attic. I could hear him carrying our presents down the stairs. I didn't want him to know I was awake so I forced myself to sleep.

pretty much this. As long as you anticipate the excitement, just plan on getting real drunk the night before and you should be able to sleep like a baby

i find that no matter how shitty and hungover i feel, as soon as i get on the first lift i get super stoked and stop giving a fuck.

Yeah, I usually get very little sleep before I go skiing. As soon as I actually get to the mountain I am pretty awake either way. Cold air wakes me up.

When I was in Alta and it was dumping I only slept four hours, and durring those 4 hours I woke up about every 45 minutes checking if it is day yet. I also had a lot of caffinated soda but the dumping and it being my first time in utah did that to me.

Whenever I used to go to Tahoe or Mammoth (before I skied Mammoth regularly) it was always so hard for me to sleep the night before, but the next nights I'd sleep like a baby after skiing hard from 9-4.

i go to sleep at like 8 the nights before i ski so i can wake up and be out the door at some ungodly hour to be there when the lifts start running

i had a blast today skiing on zero hours of sleep im so tired but skiing is the only reason to ever get up at the ass crack of dawn it is always worth it

it was funny because i met my dad at killington today and he is the same exact way gets zero sleep the night before

Oh i know the feel! We torrented Sunny to watch next Friday after finals to all watch at my buds house before we go skiing on Saturday.

I love the feeling before a night of skiing. I have this feeling in my chest the whole night, i'm so excited. I sleep really well, because I know when I get up i'm shredding. I love thinking about something else, then re-realizing i'm skiing the next day.

Crap. sorry. that wasn't the end of the stanza.

so far it goes

Twas the night before skiing and all through the house

the Newschooler was awake, clicking his mouse

someone lowered his karma, but he "didn't really care"

because the mountain was calling and he'd soon be there

and here's the original poem for a guideline

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,

In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;

And mamma in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,

Had just settled down for a long winter's nap,

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,

I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.

Away to the window I flew like a flash,

Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
