what about obama spending more money than another president ever and putting us into further debt. I am no bush or obama fan but how does that work? he spends all this money to "change" or fix things yet it has just made everything worse.
 
If Cain can get the nomination he will win. He has a impressive resume, will get much of the black vote and appears to be more of a straight talker. I think Obama supporters are scared of his race and what he will do to their black voters so expect them to slam Cain.
 
Yeah, seriously. I will seriously lol if Cain doesn't get the nomination, which I don't think he will, and then is chosen as the VP candidate in an attempt to court the black vote, Palin-style.
 
Ron Paul just laid out his plan to cut 1 trillion in federal spending in his first year in office. I think it included eliminating 5 agencies of the federal gov.

I have always been a fan of Ron Paul, I just don't think the man can get elected.

Woozy, you think he will run Independent if he doesn't get the GOP nomination? I don't know if you were talking to me personally, I'm not saying I wouldn't vote for Ron Paul, I just don't think he is going to get the nomination at this point. I wish he could, honestly, and I felt that way before I created this thread. Right now it just doesn't appear that he could pull off the GOP nomination.
 
I hope to see Paul make it. It will be really hard with the ignorance of people though. Cain is too tied to wallstreet and the fed for me, and same goes for Romney. Also, Cain trying to throw a 9% sales tax as a federal regulation is crazy. Only reason I say that, is because I live in the state of New Hampshire with no sales tax and I love it.
 
In theory, a sales tax is better than an income tax because then you're forcing people who fly under the radar (pimps, drug dealers, etc.) to pay their fair share of taxes. Also you're not being forced to pay taxes, you can choose to buy what you want.

I don't support Herman Cain, I'm just giving justification for what you said.
 
It does make sense, but instead of having a super high income tax, we have expensive property taxes. And someone else in NH can you clarify? But I'm pretty sure we have almost no income tax.
 
Weird reaction from the crowd last night when Anderson Cooper announced Pauls plan on cutting the government. I probably should have expected that though.

Fuck CNN though. Anderson was shit as a mod. for the debate. It seemed like he was encouraging the back and fourth bickering, definitely not focused on the issues.

A way to detract from the candidates and make them look bad? Damn liberals.
 
I just donated $50 bucks to Ron Pauls campaign. Its insane how bad they are trying to ignore him again. The way I see it is Ron Paul is telling people the truth, and the mainstream media wont accept that he is telling the truth but they pay attention to some other idiot. The Media just wont admit that Ron Paul knows WTF hes talking about.
 
think about this guys. While in wartime, the USA has NEVER changed presidents during a reelection except if the presidents 2 terms are up, which has only happened once im pretty sure. honestly if you wanted some money bet on Obama.
 
Obama will win. Even if you don't like it, it's the truth. Romney can't beat Obama, he can't even stay a frontrunner for more than a week. Cain is out. Gingrich is a waste of time, a thrice married adulterer who is getting the spotlight now because his name doesn't rhyme with Omney. Bachmann is un-electable, as are Santorum and every other candidate except Huntsman, who has no name recognition and spent half a term in China. This will be a weak race, on both sides. But you can bet on Obama.
