The next innovation in boots?

probably boots that have like one buckle that open from the back so it's easier to get them on.   they should call them "rear entry" or something like that.

Honestly, I think ski boots are hitting the wall as far as being able to make new ideas and designs that are truly groundbreaking.

One of the best boots on the market currently is a remake of a classic. That speaks volumes.

mabey some type of foam for the boots that does not pack out as fast...buying boots every few years gets $$$$...although then you would end up buying less boots in the long run

boots that you can walk normally in like snowboarding boots, just not as largeish....

this would be nice so you don't have to talk heel to toe all the time.

also, maybe skis could be dirt proof so that you never get snow in the part where you click into your bindings.

what atomic is doing with their boots is pretty innovative. the whole cut out low density moving plastic thing to allow articulation of the foot? helps with ur stabilization, but i can also see it making a really sloppy soft boot.

This would negatively impace performance.

As for the guy who mentioned liners packing out... Instead of buying whole new boots, just buy new liners for your shell, especially if you have a shell design that you love.
