The Newschoolers of Skimboarding?

Hey guys. I was just wondering if anyone knows what the most active skimboarding forum is on the internet. I tried googling it and can't really find anything so I thought I would check if anyone knows about one here.

Actually after I typed this I thought to check surfing forums for skim sections, but I guess I will post this anyways.

PS does anyone here skim?

thanks a lot. I checked that site and it looked pretty ghetto and I didn't see there was a message board. Man NS is a really well put together site compared to sites like TGR and this, probably one of the best layouts I have seen.

yeah youre right, NS is a great site functionally and aesthetically. but dont underrestimate skimonline.com, the forum is very active and has lots of the sport's big names, and the rest of the site used to be updated with really good trips and pictures of the pros but i think thats stopped since the owner started exile skimboards

I lived in laguna for a year and learned to skim

its so fun! some of my friends down there were super good and placed pretty well in the world championships. but sadly in alberta there isnt much of a possibility to skim :(

me too. It is actually a legit sport, has been around for years. The community from what I have seen is kind of like the early newschool community. I want to learn and be a part of it.

Dont be an ignant prick.. skimming is so different and more difficult than

surfing in so many different ways. Just to ride a wave you have to

maintain speed and time yourself to the wave, not to mention curling it

and then being able to ride it back in, while spinning and doing

shuv-its.

^^this is what i do when the season is over, more ppl should try skimboarding. Its really addicting and fun when you make your own jibs for it, u can get pretty creative.
