So I got an email today that allowed me to make an account for the "New Myspace" I made my account a few minutes ago, and I couldn't be happier.

-Heres what my main profile looks like, (background is a "cover photo")

-at the bottom note the music player

-if you scroll down you will find out the scrolling is left to right rather then up and down.

-This is what would be called your "wall" on facebook, it shows your posts, shares, pictures etc. -However, posts are limited to 140 characters so its twitter like.

-Here is what could be compared to a twitter feed or a facebook newsfeed

(only following 3 people right now, just made the account. So kendrick lamar is every post)

THIS gets pretty cool, you can make a full library, mixes and playlists. All which can be shared and viewed as you please. Anywhere you can log in.

I really dig the search function-

Also finding new content looks to be super easy-

other sweet things ive noticed-

Profile songs

Top Friends

Ability to share content VERY easily

Music is large part of this platform

The layout is super contemporary, I like it.

Seems really easy to pick up

Overall id love to see everyone go to this from facebook Facebook is old and not fun anymore, hopefully this doesnt pull a google+ tho.

OG myspace- 6.5/10

Facebook- 7.5/10

Twitter- 7/10

New Myspace- 8.5/10 (would be 9, but its a ghost town right now)

I'm interested this seems like pretty fucking rad. I liked the fact myspace had music. You could see mad tourdates and they always dropped new tracks, and the fact it was all customizable was sick

I agree, it definitely is less customizable then the original myspace (no more HTML codes) but still more personalizable then facebook or twitter

I like the looks of this. I still used to check all my favourite bands' myspaces up until recently when facebook let pages have tour date sections.

who fucking cares. how many internet identities do you really need.

brb gotta check instagram, tumblr, facebook, ns, 4chan, reddit, whatever the fuck else shit you use as a time wasting entertainment source where you can creepily like or dislike anonymous people's shit.

why is this so important to people?

stop talking about how you could or want to live your life and start living your life.

Looks sick. Maybe if everyone went back to the OG we wouldnt have to be on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, Instagram, Tumblr, Twitpic and whatever the hell kids waste time with nowadays.

Yea, this seems like a smarter marketing idea then just myspace2.0. Its just gonna get a bunch of hate

this. i will never understand facebook/twitter/instagram type shit. delete and live your own life for your liking, not for your 'friends' liking.

This looks sick, I barely use facebook or twitter but the music part of myspace will probably make me use it a lot.

Looks sweet. Most of the interesting stuff on my facebook now is bands anyways, this definitely looks like a better way to do that. As is I'm only still on facebook for a couple friends back home that it's the easiest way to communicate with.

Honestly Ns is the only social networking site I use. I have a Facebook, but I don't really care about what other people are doing so I almost never check it unless someone tells me to because they sent me something

Its similar to a combination of pandora and spotify. If you choose an artists radio it will stream music by the artist and also similar music. But you also have the option of listening to specific songs and albums by an artist, all of which can be saved in your library or a mix, same with the radio

I don't use any other social networking websites, not a huge fan of all the social bs. I signed up for this though for the music capabilities, and I am extremely pleased so far.

I remember when I was emo I had a MySpace. Can't you just update your old account so I can stick with my old pictures and everyone will think I am 14!

If you wanna have a good time log in to your old myspace and read all your old messages and wall posts.... I hate young me

This is a necessary bump. Everyone needs to sign up for an invite. I HATE social media but this is the shit. the music layout on it is so fuckign dope it's super user friendly and like i'm a fan. This is my new favorite thing. the fact that they have the events and tracks and then the radio stations as well is sooooo radical. It's like pandora, facebook, twitter, and song kick all built in one. It's super sleek and user friendly

apply for an invite

literally just got my invite a couple minutes ago! I love spotify so I hope it's similiar to that.

IT looks like they changed most of the stuff that actually made me prefer myspace. I mean I haven't used it in probably 5 or 6 years but I still liked it better than facebook.

Probably the only reason why I was ever decent at html coding was making my myspace profile the shit.

I felt horrible and 15 revisiting mine, and apparently I had an easy time hooking up back then. jesus. what a slutty little lad I was.

it won't like let me make one...i got an email conformation but nothing is happening, and it won't let me make an account, i really want to make one!!! hahha

Does it have a mobile app?

Everything is going mobile.

If it doesn't have a better mobile app than Facebook's (which sucks but isn't terrible since they've improved it a lot) than its certainly going to fail.
