I'm not sure if I'm the only person to think that Wicked really makes a statement about East Coast riding and the whole New East Coast being screamed out it totally wicked!

I live in Dirty Jersey. I curse... a lot. I say -yo- and I say it often. I sure as hell dont pump my own gas. I know a bagel is much more than a fuckin roll with a hole in the middle. I judge people by what exit they live off the parkway. I can navigate a circle... with attitude. Two words-- mother fucker. I dont go to the beach, I go down the shore. I know that 65 mph really means 80. When someone cuts me off, they get the finger... and they expect it. I ride ice and i dont mind, 6 inches of snow is heaven for me. Im a Jersey Kid..

I'm more Old East Coast. I like to lay back in front of the fire on a cold winter's day while the snowflakes fall furiously outside my frosty windows. I'll grab a book I haven't read in a while and make myself a mug of steaming tea or hot chocolate. I'll light my pipe and gaze at the fire as I recall fond memories of winters past...

think neil's movie is gonna be sick. wicked is the first true all east coast movie. no east coast skiers in west coast mtns. no west coast riders on the east. just east coasters playing in our playground we call new england. and it's gonna be the first ski film of its kind taken at an artsy perspective that means the editing will be crazy as well as the skiing. the urban rails they filmed this year were absolutely nasty. 6 kinkers quad kinks anything an urban j rail in brattleboro. i can't wait for the film to come out.

actually bryan, I can name about 10 other 'all east coast movies' I produced 2 of tehm. Sure they don't feature the sickest riders, but it's the same thing.

granted, Neil is a master and will make this movie mind blowing, along with all teh skiers in it.

man in quebec we have this advance production company that did the movie 'union' last year and it seriously killed it...it doesnt feature tanner hall or fuckin pros it features quebec talent like charles gagnier, jf houle, phil warren, dom legare and other dudes but fuck its just so sick charles g's part is better than any pro skier's part from the years movies...watch out for assault comming in 2004-2005

Actually Jersey people can ski, considering we have the best rails on the East Coast voted by Transworld -- and we boosted the only 22ft pipe in the region, plus its the people from the city on rentals wearing the puffy football jackets and jeans even though that shits totally tight--

i live in jersey and can ski any of the shit you any of you goons brag about having or having done...it also takes a lot more talent to hold an edge in some icy trees than ski some huge ass powdery bowls...so dont talk shit less you can ski it bitch

dude because u can slide rails and hit jumps by no means make you a good skier. hitting rails jumps and pipe is like 10 percent of an actual skier. also creeks pipe was not 22 feet, unless they are retarted, alota people have the zaugg with extension, but anyone whos smart doesnt use the extension, because frankly 2 feet of vert is plenty, let alone 6

I am from NJ too and i agree that if you have been growing up skiing only in NJ then you probally suck skiing. Creek has 1000 vertical feet--- honestly how technical is that. i like to think that from skiing in vermont (mt snow) a bunch like every other weekend and getting out west atleast once a year since 7th grade (utah, tahoe, whis, colorado) ... and finally moving out west this year(tahoe), that i can ski... and as winterton said in freeskier 'dont be suprised to see the next tanner hall come out of new jersey.'

But anyway Wicked is going to be a rediculous movie.... neil is going to do an amazing job of editing, and there are going to be skiers that you have never heard of throwing down like mother f-er. I cant wait!! even though im probally a sell out for moving out west. :)

i too am from jersey, and i will admit it. people in jersey suck at skiing. and the ones who are decent are the ones who go up to killy or mt snow every weekend. with a 1000 ft of vertical, there is no way to get some good terrain in unless you come from a racing background. and even the racers that come outta jersey don't seem to be all that good compared to vermont racers or new hampshire racers. being good in the park and hitting technical rails and such makes you a good newschooler. but by no means does it make you a good skiier. and i think a lot of kids who ride in jersey forget that simple fact. there are plenty of kids i see throw down in the park but can ski for shit to get from the park to the lodge. its sad that the future of skiing is somewhat held in the hands of ppl who value park skills higher than skiing skills.

 
yea im from jersey but grew up skiing vt and and other places in new england...I can ski it all so dont talk shit, im a good skier and can ski anything from rails, pipe, hits, trees and steep. just cause im from jersey doesnt mean i suck, i know mtn creek blows but i onlky skit it b/c it is close and cheap with a seasons pass.

I ment some kids in an elevator out in utah from jersey. they sucked ass. and everyone I've seen from jersey sucked. jersey is dirty too. I went there once, and will be going back there in the summer unfortunatly. so, I dont like jersey and all the skiers I've seen from there have sucked. can't ski real terrain for shit.

So, in conclusion, defy skeez and Mass are still better.

i live in vt man. jersey tourists always come to mad river. half of the people there are from jersey but its cool because my dad and his family are from jersey.

yea, it seems like more and more EC ski resorts are stepping it up and getting better features/terrain. in ny not 2 much is happening along those lines. hopefully we will start seeing some superpipes and huge hits in ny.(lab!)

What's all this bashing about Jersey? The whole thing on Jersey was my signature. I was directing this is the pat of all East Coasters. But of course you had to bring it up soo let's review, I know a lot of Jersey skiers who can ride everything because they travel a lot and so do I. Mountain Creeks park is sick soo thats what we ski because there is nothing else -- and thats why Mountain Creek is in Wicked to begin with because our features beat a lot of other resorts. But when we go out west or up north we take advantage of the glades and ride well there as well.

I have no problem with anywhere on the east except for new jersey. vermont rules, mass rules, hampshire rules, maine rules, ny rules, everything has something to offer--- except new jersey.
