i also think Candide is better than CR. i hear CR is just a large coke head now. he didnt compete much last year , as candide did.

JKsl I think you need to see CR again. his pipe hits were enormous and tweaked out with tons of style. and if you look at his vid segments. he is mixing it up between big spins, and slow stylie 180s and 360s. The fact is that CR is more diverse in everything.

CR does ALOT more then just 1080's and 1260's. Whoever said that obviously didn't see Happy Dayz. His segment defined stylie 3's. And if you havent seen Focused, he rocks double stagers in Alaska with cork 3's. Its sick.

Candide also is an amazing skier too. He has a crazy air sense and does have a excellent style, especially on step ups. MOE-Rod is right, trick deversity isnt style. Its a skill level. But my theory is that candide always goes so big , so Tail grabs are his most comfortable grab so he does it. And I can't wait too ski, so quit saying to stop talking about skiing and go ski, Im too excited thats why theres newschoolers, i think i might go crazy without NS.

Focused did not suck! Focused was wayyy better than SM3. Focused show innovative new things that one can do. Focused is one of many amazing movies this year

they both have their plusses. Focus has most innovative editing and a rider list that you will here more about in the near future, including Kunz, ghikadis, gagniers, and others

forward definitely shows skiing the best for ppl living on the east coast. but generall focused was a great movie backcountry innovation, the rider list, zipline cams, crazy lines. its just a great movie

yea id hav 2 agree i think forward was super dope though itz probably gonna b one of the best ski movies of the year like there was so much progression in forward

its just that u cant say that focused sucked or was bad. every movie I've seen this year has been better than last year by miles! just some are a few miles better than others

this year is like the Boom year of ski filming. this year sets the standard and foundation for years to come. while the early years were good with propaganda, ski movie, the game. this year's batch has my fav movies from previous years beat!

i just wonder withch guys ski is gonna be the bc booter ski and whitch one the park ski. because they are probably not both gonna be park skis. oh and candide is iller then cr anyday anywhere.

 
neither will be a BC ski. candide will have a park ski and CR will have a slightly fatter version. the BC ski will be the redesigned pocket-rocket

Everyone chill out, appreciation of style is SUBJECTIVE! I personally think both CR and Candide are sweet but I think Candide is the best rider simply because of his ability to completely blow my mind again and again. I still have a hard time convincing myself it's real when I watch his 3 tail and corked 5 over the hip at Superpark like 40 feet above the deck, not to mention chads gap, his insane pipe hits (although CR is boosting too!), and that crazy backcountry step up in French Toast etc. etc. etc. As others have said I would like to see him mixing it up with the grabs a bit but even if he never does he'll still be number one in my book. CR is also a VERY sick and well rounded rider but he just doesn't blow me away the way Candide does and on top of that he strikes me as quite the fag and one of the biggest posers I've ever seen to this day.

I saw the 2004-2005 line from salomon yesterday and I must say it is a remarkable lineup. Every graphic is changed and they are implementing a couple new categories. The camo skis are beyond sick...candides ski has a chill sunset on it. They'll also have LAB 1080 with the racing base and longer lenght. looks very promising.

Im definitely in for candide, hes got some mad style. Both of em had awesome segments in The Front Line, but overall id say Candide rocks
