yo I was just on the salomon site and its talking about the new cr and candide pro models from salomon, and that crs is gonna be a cammo design on a super pocket rocket deal and candides is gonna be some stoner design it talks about it in there interviews on the site doe any one have any info or pics on these skis? also word up to woody for making salomon international team aussie represrntin.

I heard that salomon may release the skis they used in the pipe in the xgames with those racing bases. I heard that CR and thovex are designing skiis and that Mike Douglas is doing a new design. the plan I heard was for thovex to do a park ski, CR to do a mid fat like 82-84 under the foot and mike douglas to redesign the Pocket rocket with a new name and slightly wider like 95-100 under the foot

i think candide had 1080 pro mods as soon as he got 2 salomon from dynastar. i remember this english salomon pro tellin me about them then i saw them and they looked like the silver 171 1080's but with his name in the skin in fairly big font so u couldn't miss it. dont no y the dude dont ride em. he probly bust em. so im quite sure these'll b his sencond pair.

remember... if you havent got style u may as well fuck off home.
 
finally salomon does something right. If all this is true, we are gonna have a shit load of sick skis to choose from next year what with the three phils each getting a pro model, new K2 skis, Salomons, and I bet Armada and 4frnt get new models next year too.

i agree henrik is quickly getn to the top. I used to not like candide because he flails, but after seein what he can do in royalty nothing but respect. When he's really comfy with a trick, he can take it bigger, and make it more style, but i still dont like him flailing on a simple grab.

candide skis more big mountain than park don't say he only skis park because thats all you have seen. check any of the movies outta europe...where he grew up there werent real parks he learned everything on back country booters..

DUDE you obviously are a huge Candide fan. but the fact is that CR has more park style, more trick diversity, and FOR SURE more backcountry prowess. put them on the same terrain and watch CR go higher, farther and with more style than candide.

Dont tell me or petek to shut the fuck up. it aint nice and this is an opinion pool. thats what all forums are.

since you cant have CR and candide hitting the same BC jumps you;re just going to have to takke my word for it that CR is better.

Ya Candide is sick. But CR is sicker. Im sorry but his style in the air is just that much more fun too watch. And he can rip everything from the pipe to the bc, too alaska. No joke tho, candide does go bigger then ANYONE i have ever seen. But he has a poor trick deversity. the only grabs i have seen him do are tail grabs. Just my opinion.

I like more to see Candide doing tail grab than other rider that are only doing safety like dash lounge. And Candide is doing variation with his tail, reverse tail or tip tail.

while candide does do a ton of tail grabs and blunts they are stylie! trick diversity is not a style statement, its a skill statement!

i personally like candide a lot better, i'm very sick of seeing cr spinning as fast as he can, i know most of you will want to say 'yea, you go try to do a bio 1260', well hey, i don;t care, i would never WANT to do one, i mean it's good to be technical, but i just hate the style he has

candide just flows really well, i've liked him since 13, he's just the man, and he's just rediculous, like his style in the x-games was so much better than cr, cr looked constipated when he was pumping the walls....i bet after he took a huge dump
