Our review of the normal ARG II might be of value to you. The UL version should be easier to drag uphill and quicker to flick around on the way down, but potentially less damp and composed in variable snow (which was never the ARG's strength anyway, but whatever).

The ARG II was weird at first but eventually survivable on groomers and cat tracks. It’s a tool intended for deep powder, and if you’re hoping for a wide ski that still does well on skied-out snow, I’d look elsewhere.
