i wont comment the last sentence, because unregulated markets dont do very well either.
and poor people shouldnt have to work ten times harder. a rich kid can step into his dads company as a vicepresident of useless operations and never really work and earn tha moneyz.
not everybody who is "working" hard, becomes rich. thats the american dream, not the american reality. or anywhere else on that planet, for that matter.
gladly, money is not equal to happiness, and a lot of poor people live satisfied and happy lives beyond our culturally inherited greed and jealousy. but there is a border, where you dont have enough to eat, done have a roof over your head and your kids dont have a fair chance in society. thats the point where a government has to spend the money of someone who can afford it to better these situations.
i hate how people on this site, which are by definition among the top 15% (estimation) in the world, given how expensive skiing is, act like everything is so easy, just because me and you have it that easy.
