The most hard core crash ive ever seen in person

me and midwestprojibber(nate) are in park city right now and we've been filmin at kings crown well today we didnt bring the camera and were just gonna ski..well it was the begining of the day and i just strait aired the 85fter in jonseys park and cased it a little..so next run nate hits it but in a tucked position due to lack of speed when i hit it..well he didnt come untucked early enough and couldnt stand up he hit the lip and was completly upside down in the air..there was like a bomb hole in the ground where his head hit

the result..he has a compress fractured vertabre and is out for like 8 weeks..tonight he has been puking all night because of the pain and how the injury effected the nervous system..but damn skiing can be rough
 
hey that happened to me at spirit one year, i sat down to get more speed and i started to go up the lip and couldn't stand it, only i didn't go upside down i ended up just doing a 180 to death but damn that sucks, get better soon nate
 
Jea i hate that when your friend says "you need to hit this with a lot of speed" and then you do and then you over shoot the landing by 10 ft......damn you aaron.
 
i saw a pretty hard crash today at spirit....someone landed really bad on the deck of the pipe...ouch!
 
Two questions...

1) did your buddy have a helmet on?

2) He was sitting on his tails tucking right, instead of hands in front like a downhill racer right?

probably kyle... he came down mid way on the deck and bounced off, back down to the bottom. It was probably the worst pipe crash I have seen in person. And to make it worse it was right onto his shoulder that he seperated a few weeks ago. Heal up Kyle.
 
yeah that was the one, it was bad enough he landed on the deck, then bounced into the bottom just makes it that much worse
 
thanks everyone im getting better and worse i can walk without crutches but i just found out i didnt compress my back i shattered a vertabae so i will pry need surgury cause its cutting off my spine but what a trip the day after zak breaks his collar bone
 
that really sucks but i would have flopped onto my side if i couldnt get out of a tuck going into that giant
