The most baller burger ever: The In N Out 4bi9

well yea, but it's easier to say "animal style" than "grill my onions, extra spread, mustard grilled patty, and pickles". There aren't even menu items that have pickles on them, how are you supposed to know that they exist haha?

The things that get names are the secret menu items, "animal style" "protein style" "au sal" etc.

I'm going to have them make me a meaty salad animal style sometime. Imagine like, 4 sides of lettuce, a chopped up patty, with melted cheese, girlled onions and spread on top.

excellent.

"au sal"?....what is that? It's been over 5 years since I worked there. I left when protein style was just getting big. I've just always found it funny how some customers would act like there is a secret menu under lock and key or something. It's like the company says, it's a "not-so-secret menu" and it's just the way customers like their burgers prepared.

ordering a salad is au sal in some places, I don't know why because it doesn't make sense. other places you just ask for a salad. If I remember right, it's actually an old one that noone knows about anymore. I don't remember who told me that, but I have heard of people ordering it.

Have you ever had anyone order a Flying Dutchman?

hahah you remember correctly. I haven't yet gotten one, i always forget every time i'm there.

yea, in carson city. same shopping area with the best buy, the michaels, and all that.

because canada would never stand for that many calories being taken in by one human being unless it was in tha form of m aple syrup

The employee picnics were great....they brought in INO trucks, and it was all you could eat for you and family. You would think that working their you would get tired of it, but no you dont. My burger was a double meat animal style with ketchup and mustard instead of dreasing......just cuz i like to watch what i eat.

I knew some people that worked there and talked about the picinics a bunch. They had water slides and shit.

Anyways, the people I knew that worked there, and the people that lived with them got to be very specific with how they ordered, and would order times for the paddys to be cooked. , like 30 seconds and shit.

I never do that because its scares me and in n out is good enough to get a 3x3 animal style.

Animal Style is where they put mustard on the patty while it cooks, add extra dressing, grilled onions, and pickles to the burger.

^Ding ding and boy is it delicious. I thought I got enough in when I was in california last month but after seeing this thread I knew I was wrong.

Why oh why does is have to be privately owned? If it wasn't I'd franchise that shit in a second!

how have i never thought of that. i eat there all the time

and i love cheese
i guess now they wont let you order bigger than 5 patties

there's more to it than that. It wasn't on their site until a couple years ago. before then it was completely underground (from what I'm told)

those who know, know.

In-N-Out makes a super good burger for a great price, but they are definitely not the best in the US. Also whats up with people hating on In-N-Out fries? I think they are pretty good.

the price to quality ratio is decent, but in n out is way overhyped, their burger is nothing special tbh.
