The Montana Meth Project

i cant really say if its working for sure, but i would hope so. they have intense radio commercials, and nasty ass bill boards. shit is scary

Well they have been forced to remove some of their bill boards and TV commercials because they are too explicit. I dont really know if its working or not though. I do know that one of the guys who is donating money to it payed for us to get some baller new soccer fields. CLAIM my high school team was the first team from Great Falls to win on them /CLAIM

yeah they are putting up ads in CT too on the radio i haven't seen any on tv yet, at least they are attacking a drug that ruins families now

now they just need to get rid of weed advertising all together because its worthless and those damn truth commercials. If somebody wants to smoke, they know the fucking risks, leave them be. this meth advertising needs to be stepped up though

hahaha, the billboards crack me up they say the most ridiculous shit ever, the only thing it does is make my town look even more fucked up than it really is

they did something like this in oregon last january or something on all of the channels they showed this meth video so it was on every local channel you just couldn't get away from it. and i was driving through montana last week and i saw a really creepy billboard or someone in meth, it was gross.

i was forced to watch all those vids etc. last year in planning class, and its effin gross. they should be using all that advertising and DEA shit to get rid of meth, which is actually a terribly harmful drug unlike weed, which they are spending millions on;

i just watched all of them and i am freaking out that was so fucked up, i dont even want to smoke weed

I live in MT and there are billboards everywhere on it.. according to the news and stuff i guess it has lowerd the meth user rate quite a little bit.

For me, i would never do meth but these commercials just make me not want to do it more... And on the radio the project like has kids talking about thier addictions and how its affected them and thier lives...

So i would say yes, it is working.

I just watched all those adds and holy shit they were powerful. Why would you ever want to do meth. Im not one to do drugs but if you do do a drug make it weed. Its much safer than meth and crack such sketchy drugs

because its a billboard... where the people on them don't actually do meth. if you saw these you might think some of them look pretty funny too.

in helena there is one right out side of a church. pretty hillarious placement if i think its funny.

still idk how thats funny(other than the one out side a church, thats funny) but meth is some fucked up shit

its nothing to joke about

true.. but thats not the point of them.. They are to PREVENT kids from using meth... hence the phrase "METH not even once" .. is targeting people who havent done it so they dont start....

im from bozeman, and those billboards are everywhere! and the comercials are so fucked up. they better be working.

dude, that's so fucked up, how could you say that, let's take life seriously at all times!

i'm glad i'm not the only one who laughed at some of those pictures...

that shit gives me nightmares. it makes me shit my pants just thinking about smoking the gnarliest chemicals that you can find...

Always nice to see so much support for this. Meth is so fucked. My uncle used to be addicted to it about 20 years ago. He turned his life around though.

montana has these as well/ atleast lewis and clarke county does. our on special task force to take of drugs, and i heard like 80%+ is geared towards meth, how true that is im not totally sure. but the montana meth project is not connected to the government i don't think.
