The million dollar question, poles or no poles

wrong. poling/skating, balance, plants for rhythm and timing. they do alot, you just dont notice.
 
thats funny, i dont remember saying anything about andy, but now that you have brought it up, why is it that andy uses poles when filming? maybe because he knows what is best for the sport, and yes every skier needs to start reping skiing like it should be, oh, and your too cool for skiing, you think snowboarding is rad so do that and never come back to skiing you fucking homo
 
finally someone makes a good point, this no pole training however should be done in the trees where no one can see you, its for the best
 
how do you ski without poles??? i dont think i could do it it would be really weird. so i say ski WITH poles, if not then buy some blades you fag
 
it about a five dollar question, maybe 5.50. use poles. i have never seen someone hitting the park without poles. i will break my poles on the first persons head that i see ripping the park without poles.

Poles are cheating sticks, skiers should learn to ski well without them if your a racer you know what i mean. A shit load of freeskiers have a racing past. But as far as skiing with out poles, i say leave it to the Aerialists. My 3cents worth, Nick.

drop the poles for a bit, learn to ski with out them, dial in grabs with out them, then if you want, pick them back up again, you probably will be a better skiier and thank your self for not being a close minded prick. Sometimes it's not for steeze but for learning and practice.
 
When you get good enough without poles you can ski just the same or better than if you had them. I like to ski around with one hand on my cock and two fingers in my ass so it really makes it nice not having those pole thingy's in my hands. Now can we stop taking about this shit?

very few people can pull of no poles and be steezy. soo many people rock nopoles in washington its crazyy.
 
you go every were in a mountain it more pratic have pole and a good skier need pole because you pick all the time when you turn .no pole, your are not a skier
 
1 footers are a park rat trick...shit, i havent touched a park in my 3 weeks of skiing so far. go ahead and 'progress' rails when the last thing they need is to be slid. oh wait. nevermind...stay away from pow. keep up the one foot.
 
Depends if you can ski with poles and still have style. If not then try to ski with poles to get the style down. Basically always use poles.

i learned to ski without poles...that was wen i was 3 then afte about 3 years my dad gave me sum and i have loved them ever since...i hate skiing without them now..
 
I wouldnt say "million dollar question" but "$50 Question" b/c thats about the price of a pair of poles I think.
 
skiers without poles remind me of little kids needing their parents to help them onto the lift as they struggle to get from the line to the loading area
 
fuck you i know more about actual skiing and can make turns better than 99% of the people on this website i ski raced from age 8 to age 14 and was a state champ Northeast champ andcompeted at an international level and was within the top 5 so suck my balls you douchebag and don't make claims about people unless you know your shit.

By the way, I have never ridden pow ever. In fact I hate it with a passion. I don't even know why I chose Kicking Horse over Whis 4 years ago. Must have been the reputation of their rail park.... Don't assume.
