The midair pretzel wave

Hitting a little pretzel action in the jump world is nothing new, I still fully back Alex Hackle's hand drag pretzel or some classic last minute reverts. But these days it seems to be getting a little bit out of hand with everyone trying "flat 0's" and the big air scene moving more towards just simply breaking physics. Not to discredit the technicality of banging out those tricks, but the style just isn't always there. Not saying it's gone, but I just hope we can get back to some good ol' tricks with nice grabs and 'bang.

They’re more of a novelty trick rather than a steeze trick but even if someone does the most wack air pretz im pretty impressed ngl. Not every trick needs to be dope looking but if you make it your whole shtick thats when I start to question your trick choice lol

yeeee ngl, I feel like it is a cheap way for up and coming comp jocks to be like 'look i am not a comp jock', but these tricks are starting to be usable in comps and it just can be instead of how many spins can i muscle out ---> how can i spin a little and use crazy wack look flails to muscle some sort of 'pretzel'. In air muscling super forced air pretzels can prove you are in the same league as other comp jocks but does not =/= style. Just because you are 'breaking physics' doesn't mean that general ideas for what makes something style don't apply...should still be proper imo #iagreewithop

Can we just boycott dumb tricks this year? No one with their mind right and big enough pants will do a pretzel flip (or whatever you call them) this season. Also want to ban daffy butters from skiing. That trick was born dead.
