now these are initial reactions of each film from the matrix series and after extreme review of each film i have come to these conclusions:

Matrix 1: Gay fucking shit

Matrix 2: Gay fucking shit shit

matrix 3: Gay fucking shit shit shit

when they first sat down the primary guidlines for the movie i bet they said this 'Lets make this movie as far fetched as we possibly can and people will make up their own theories and everything will come together like rye bread'.

Utter brilliance, i applaude you waronowski brothers.

matrix 1: poignant, different, innovative, refreshing and respectable filmmaking

matrix 2: good, for once a mainstream movie with intellectual subject matter (mainly the architect).

matrix 3: abomination. utter garbage. completely horrible. so bad that it made me look down on m2 which i enjoyed before seeing m3. way to destroy what could have been a cinematic feat for trilogies forever. certainly leaves an aftertaste of stagnant death.

we got it nice nice nice

Matrix 1 will always be my favorite

i liked just about everything in the first one

i liked the special effects in 2 and 3, that's about it. the only redeeming think about matrix movies is they provide more samples for drum&bass producers than any other movies out there, which means more records for me to buy

I can say that I enjoyed wathching the Matrix triology, but I just can't watch them again, If I think about renting them or something I just get a disgusting feeling in my tummy...so point is not worth renting...not worth paying 8 bucks to see in big screen and not worth my time posting this

1 was very good, 2 was petty good but the story was pretty poor and there was absolutely no need for showing Reeves' ass/ I've not even seen 3 because I've heard it's horrible but you know what's going to happen after seeing the first two (or maybe I don't - I've not seen it but it looks very predictable).

i agree with schwags, i didn't really liked any of them, i didn't even bother seeing the third one cause i was sick of the other two

1st one - revolutionary movie, in both effects, and just the general idea. Whether you like it or not, the 1st movie raised the bar so much for other movies, and many of the effects today descended from technology devolped for that movie.

2nd movie - shitty plot, amazing effects in fight scenes, overall not a bod movie.

3rd movie - another shitty plot, but the computer done stuff was amazing, not as much wirework and fighting effects like the 2nd and 1st, but 60% of that movie was computer done, and I thought it looked really good.

the first one was good, but I don't remember anything about the second one. it was just one of those movies that completely left me the minute i got out of the theater. and i didn't see the thrid one, i'd been warned to stay away.

'hey look guys! For a dollar you can get a free condom!'

- a friend when she saw the condom dispenser in the bathroom

'We could give him milk after filling his epipen with heroin and turn him into a drug addict'

- a guy thinking of ways to get revenge on someone who is deathly allergic to milk

just one of those movies with shitty sequals. #1 was the best because no one had ever seen something like that before. but then #2 and #3, well u know the story.

i lked them all but i have to say #2 was the best with the whole car chase

In the words of AC/DC: We roll tonight... to the guitar bite... and for those about to rock... I salute you.

#2 could of been good if they showed more ass

i met larry david , AND I KICKED HIM IN THE BALLS HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

the first one was pretty awesome, and sequels are hardly ever as good as the first one. reloaded was ok, the fight scenes were good, and the car thing was swell...but, i dunno, i didn't even get the point of the dance/whatever scene. i haven't seen revolutions..but it doesn't seem like anyone liked it.

i think im going to continue to avoid seeing the 3rd one so that my whole feeling towards the matrix trilogy doesnt become worse than it is after seeing the 2nd one.

seriously I agree with crystal-needs-a-park. Maybe I'm just easily entertained when it comes to movies, but I thought the whole trilogy was one of the best out there.

The first one was revolutionary and groundbreaking. Sure, the second and third weren't perfect, but while they lacked in some areas, I thought they made up for it in others.

thats horrible that you like such a plastic movie... the story was good in the beginning yes, but the overall execution of the series never took off the ground.. If dumb and dumber had a 3rd movie it could easily compete with the matrix. which isnt much of a competition besides the special effects category, in which shrek wins all.
