Dont get me wrong i am super stoked on tanner and the massive. Believe was one of my top 3 favorite ski movies of all time and i dont wana see tanner go back to making movies like pop yer bottlez and wski 106 cause it seems like he is filming with more jib oriented skiers like sammy c. and sean feilds. He didnt mention filming with anthony borowski or seth in the N.S. interview with him and i hope he films alot of big mountain and pow shit again this year.

Opinions?
 
I think and hope the massive will still be more pow oriented but it will also have some nice jibs which no one can complain about i just hope it is longer than believe which was one of my favorite movies last year.
 
i think that it will be more pow than park..i also think that there will be some park.im stoked on it i cant wait
 
Tanner is so good at park it would be a shame for him not to have at least a small segment of it.
 
There is apparently a jib segment, but it seems like it's gonna be a bit (or a lot) of everything. I mean, there was the vid of them at Revelstoke, and Pettit slays that line. Not to mention some sick pillows
 
i hope they do some park in this movie, i know they probably wont but it would be fun to see tanner shralp the parks again..
 
There's for sure going to be alot of powder in it because that's where tanner is at right now in his skiing, i think we'll be seeing some park stuff too though.
 
im with you here man Believe was awesome im moving from park to backcountry but yea i think hes trying to make a more well arounded movie but i saw a clip of them filming sammy was in the backcountry so you never know
 
Honestly, if it is Tanner skiing, it doesn't matter what it is, he will slay it, and it will be enjoyable and inspiring to watch. I look forward to The Massive.
 
I cant wait to see the urbans tanner hit. I think its great how he is making a film that features all aspects of skiing.
 
well i loved believe and honestly wouldnt change anything, it was MY favorite ski movie of all time, i hope the massive doesnt turn out to be a dissapointment, bu the looks of things hopefully no but then again yeah dude looked fucking amazing and look what it turned out to be

i think the massive will be a more rounded movie - does tanner want to be the travis rice of skiing? tanner kills everything

 
i hope so.. i thought believe was okay, but there was nothing but pow skiing, dont get me wrong i would rather ski blower pow any day of the week than hit the park. But in a movie all pow stuff doesnt amuse me that much..gets repetitive.
 
He is filming in Terrace BC (Northern Escape Heli) with Ian McIntosh from TGR right now and then I think a full month in Alaska (all of April) with a private heli sponsored by Red Bull. TGR is also up in Alaska for 6 weeks this year (Haines I think) so both those movies are going to go off. Apparently Seth has already nailed some big drops including a 60 front flip to stomp. Wooo!
 
he never said its gonna be like wski106 or pop yer bottlez. but i think its gonna have more things than just bc and a few booters like in believe. which is my fav movie by far. but for the massive i think its gonna be similar to show and prove. urban bc bc booters maybe some park. which i think will be sick.
 
i like where tanner is going. hes bringing skiing back to the big mountain while implementing aspects of the park. the massive is gona have some crazy creative shit that no ones seen before. its good skiing is going towards the creative side of filming also. for awhile there he was like the shaun white of skiing but hes gotten alot of respect back.
 
I dont think massive will be anything like pop yer bottlez or wski106. You can see from all of his updates that the mjaority of his filming is still going on in the backcountry. I think whats going to be different about this one is that it wont be solely bc. Tanner himself is getting back into the urban stuff a little but i think that Massive will be far from being anything close to pyb or wski. Im really stoked for this movie.
