The man belongs in the white house

On the eleventh of September about 3,000 people were killed -- as a nation we were coerced into war with Iraq namely because of these 3,000 deaths. Now our government has had 4,000 Americans killed. We were told then, at the beginning of the War, before the war, that the inevitable deaths and the costs was to be the sacrifice that America makes in order to find safety, and peace. That these deaths will be justified because the American army is fighting the people that attacked us, and fighting people that have weapons that could, if not hurt us, hurt lots of other people in the region.

What do we know now?

-Al Qaeda was not in Iraq before we invaded

-That there was/are no weapons of mass destruction

-We’ve killed over 1million civilians

talk about flawed logic...

He unites people with his ability to speak though...

And yeah Hitler was a great speaker, and dont forget he made Germany into a superpower, changed the country entirely. Even if he was evil.

of course I get another brickhead remark like this, you clearly didn't understand the logic i was trying to get across to you.

I think we need to fix whats wrong in america before we make amends to the rest of the world. Even if he is a good speaker it doesnt mean anything unless he acts on it. Its probably my least favorite saying but actions do speak louder than words.

In order to address intranational issues, we will need the support of the international community. In times of trouble there is only so much the individual can do for themseves, before they he/she needs to go to others for support: i think this fits the situation for our nation just fine. We have so much going on within our own country that there will be no way for us to handle it all on our own. We need to rebuild the community which we live in- America as the individual, the world as our support.

Actions don't speak louder than words, they are just the physical existance of the ideas contained within words.

it's impossible for his actions as a president to speak for him when he hasn't been elected yet. Untill he has the opertunity to act, we're just going to have to take his word for it.

Thanks, now I don't need to write out a lengthly reply to 'my flawed logic.'

The wars were two completely different scales, Iraq is small isolated war that has costed much more than WW2 which involved wars on two sides of the ocean with many more men. It's a fucking cash drain!
