I think it would be a shame to see Obama lose to someone like hilary. He has such a presidential demeanor, Watch this video, i know its like 40 min long, all you need to do is watch the first 5 min. Hes addressing all the topics other people are too scared to talk about. Compare that first 5 min to any Bush speech, he uses words that word make bush fall over. Not to mention he doesn't look down to any type of notes almost the entire time. This is how a president should act

as we've seen for the past 8 years, if you can't speak you can't lead... And why do you think that ability to lead doesn't rely hevily on ones ability to speak?

Being able to speak, and use language is a highly favorable trait in a leader, it allows you to communicate with your country men, and the rest of the world.

I think the thing i want most from a president right now is one who is able to go out and talk to the rest of the world, someone who can start making amends and repairing our global image.

so how again is it a bad thing that he can speak?
 
i think what he is trying to say he has integrity no one else has

no we shouldnt vote for some one soaley on there speaking abilitys but i the point of the post is to what he is talking about not how he talks about it
 
hitler was perhaps ONE of the best public speakers. look at what he accomplished as a leader.

there is a difference between making the right decisions and being able to eloquently communicate yourself in front of a crowd.

MLK, Frederick Douglass, JFK, FDR, Churchil, Carter, Lincoln

great speakers, great leaders

i'm not saying that the ability to speak determines your ability to lead, but it is an important characteristic of a great leader.

but i guess if you're coming from the point of view that he has nothing else going for him the it doesnt really matter

Are you serious comparing a good public speaker to being like Hitler than you should probably go back to retard 101. As for accomplishments he united a country, brought Germany out of one of the largest slumps the world has ever seen (ie getting assfucked from the Treaty of Versailles) and created an empire from the rubble. He was a wackjob yes, but this shows that the ability to speak to and unite the people means a hell of a lot more than droning on and on about policies etc.
 
Now im going to correct myself, policies matter more than speaking but if you can speak, your policies come out in a way which relates to the people much better.
 
Dude, he accomplished a fucken shitload as a leader (nothing good) so your proving his point yes hitler was a great speaker and set fuel throughout his nation and the nazis were such passionate patriots, Hitlers speaking ability motivated his people almost dominating the world.

And donations made by Rezko to his campaign were donated to charity.

Very true. While some good speakers can be bad leaders, there are no bad speakers that can be good leaders. Being a good speaker doesn't automatically make someone a good leader, but it is a requirement. I respect Obama a lot for his talent as a speaker and his command of language, but it isn't the only reason that I'm going to vote for him. His policies are what attracted me to him as a candidate in the first place, but if he was a bad speaker that would have turned me away. I would never vote for someone like Bush who can hardly formulate a coherent sentence.

I had no intention on really saying anything, but here's where you're very wrong. The whole Catholic molestation thing is a private issue, that being that they don't go before the congregation and say to have sex with boys. In fact, they would probably say the opposite. Are some of those people criminal hypocrites? Yes, yes they are. Also, many have lost their jobs.

Now with Obama, he chooses that particular church. Not to mention his pastor is the person who is like the teacher, the mediator, between them and their god. He preaches a philosophy of race, and by and large, hate. Once again, this is something that is happening now, openly, and has been for some time, and Obama chooses to be there, as if he, too, agrees with the philosophy. It would seem asinine for such large amounts of people to attend a congregation where they didn't believe what they are being taught. If you had the same thing going on with say McCain, you would have the NAACP on their ass or something.

what i am trying to say Sir Parkboy is that you reflect the people you associate yourself with. like i said before if you hangout with a crew full of pot heads i am just going to assume u smoke a bunch of weed, maybe you dont but 99% of people that dont know will think you do. the people you are friends with directly reflects on you as a person.
