So for anyone that has had the opportunity to purchase or read Frequency, the high-end classy styled snowboard mag....well then you know it is pretty rad, and every photo is basically a poster for your wall... SO you will be even more excited to check out the brand new SKI JOURNAL....

Just came across the website, thought you kids would be stoked. I expect it to be something great, and something I will be purchasing as soon as they release the first issue. Stoked to see frequency moving into skiing.

if anyone has read frequency, they will know that the money you haveto pay for ski journal is well worth it

 
You get what you pay for. Frequency is far beyond anything done in skiing right now, so this should be good.
 
Looks pretty dope, mad props to Grant on the editorship. Can't wait to see it.
 
It's not meant to sit on the bathroom floor, it's a collectors magazine meant more for the coffee table.

I know that 40 bucks seems like a lot for a subscription, espeically when some ski mgazines are pratically giving there subscriptions away. However, we will have pratically no advertising compared to the other magazines, and are more like an ultra high quality coffe table book than another ski mag.

Think of us as the dude at your local resort that rips it up, and is too busy skiing to care about being sponsored.

We are an independent journal about skiing, published by skiers.

 
Frequency is the best snowsports publication out there right now and is actually worth it's cover price, unlike most other magazines.

I've been excited about this project for awhile, and now after seeing the absolutely stacked masthead The Ski Journal has assembled, I have no choice but to... burn down their offices.

As long as they manage to successfully straddle the border (like Frequency) between soul brah and whatever the fuck it is we are right now, this should be the best thing to happen to ski magazines in a long time.

man thats price it better be worth it, on another point alpinest magazien is 20+ an issue it's sweet but thats the cost of a book.
 
$39.99 for one yr and only for mags is steep, especialy when freeskier is praticaly free with all their offers they give out
 
This isn't "another magazine" printed on tracing paper, though, it's not meant to be read and passed onto a buddy to tear out photos and wipe up liquor off the coffee table with advertisement pages. It's meant to be a high quality publication, and if you don't have $10 to pay for an issue, I suggest you get a second job.
 
Please don't compare this sort of thing to Freeskier. Please. It hurts.

If you can't afford it, too bad, your loss... but don't complain about it. Really though, who can't scrounge up 40$, it's not like it's a car payment or something, it's half a monthly liquor budget. Some kids on here (get their parents to) spend about 1000$ a year on ski gear. Find the money, I bet you won't regret it.
 
I was going with what I spend on 40s for home... not nights out... that's a whole different thing. The point is, it's not much money. It's less than a dinner for two. So skip your date and subscribe, it's not like she was going to fuck you anyway.
 
There will be very limited newstand distribution. Basically it will be sold in the same places that you presently find Frequency. The best way to get it thou, it via Subscription.
 
I was interested, and liking the idea...but now theres no doubt about it. Subscribing.

The Jerk and Grant made it solid for me.....frequency is so dope. Sick sick sick.

Cream and the Journal, we're starting to maybe do something right.
