The "Made in the USA" thread

False. The truck is still a Ram (either 2500 or 3500). They get their diesel engines from Cummins, which is a separate company that also makes diesel engines and such for many other applications.

Also, a large amount of vehicles from American companies are in fact manufactured in Mexico. My Tacoma, however, was made in Fremont, California.

My Bach Strad is made in Indiana. I have a vintage 1980 one, so it's from back when they were completely handmade. Also, every lubricant I use on it is made in the good ole' USA.

I hope to buy a Torpedo Bag Classic trumpet case within the next few days. They are arguably the best in the world, and made right in Minnesota (where I live)! They are so strong that the creator (Steve Criesel) jacked his car up and put a case under each rear wheel, and the trumpet was fine.

I intend on buying some ON3P Filthy Riches this summer. I think it's awesome what they've been doing, and that there's like 6 people at the factory! They're what skiing should be.

Lastly, Phar North is out of Montana and has the stuff made in Georgia, and they make some great stuff. Check them out at http://pharnorth.com

Maine is like, the shoe capital of the US right now. Oak Street Boot Makers, based in Illinois, has all of their shoes made in Maine and shipped to the chicago area. Things are awesome. Quoddy is in Maine as well.

Ive put this bag through 4 years of daily use, it's the greatest bag I've ever owned. It's rugged and really water proof.

I could generally care less where my stuff is made as long as it is a quality product. That being said, pretty much any fitness equipment I purchase, or will purchase, will be Rogue. Such good quality.

Yo don't buy a Torpedo Bag until they get their shit together. I ordered one over a month ago and was told that it would ship within 5 days. They didn't let me know it was backordered until I inquired about it a few weeks later. When they told me it was backordered they said it would ship the next week. It didn't ship. I emailed again-no response. Emailed on this past Thursday-no response yet (but I'm not expecting one until Monday or Tuesday). On top of all that, they charged my credit card the day I made the order while it says on their website that they don't charge until the bag is shipped. I'm pretty pissed off at them to say the least.

That really sucks dude, I hope it works out for you. I bought it on Friday, I really really hope it will be coming soon. On Trumpet Master and Trumpet Herald I had heard only good things about the cases, company and customer service. My friend was supposed to get a free torpedo bag when he bought his Harrelson Bravura, but it never came for him either. I hope it was just 2 flukes.

maybe try calling them if you haven't already, 612-710-8636

Yea I think I got it all sorted now. They were having some shipping issues because the bags were being made at a different place. I got an email today saying that they finished a new batch and that it should go out tomorrow. The guys were all really helpful. It must be tough dealing with such high demand for things hand-made in-house.

Canadian here, these are the only two things we produce.

its very hard to find homegrown products, even in Our biggest city toronto. I realize its important to buy local, but i dont really make the effort to buy local and most of the time i dont even look at the country of origin.
