The Lunar Eclipse Right now

It just started, you guys better be watching! It just began. It won't really be cool until like 2:52am pacific then it will get dope and red for like 90 min. Its gonna be sick! Expecially for the west coast. We will get it totally covered; "totality." The ground will look like its glowing and shit too. Watching the moon will be like seeing every sunset on earth at once. I'm psyced!
 
haha ya me too but for some reason all the ibprofeun I've had today is making me tired. Otherwise I usually go to bed around 2-4. Lastnight it was like 4:15 or something. But I gotta work tomorrow at 11 so I dunno.
 
Well yeah, it just started, "techincally." You won't really notice it till later. It's just the faint earth edges right now. Hence the, "it wont be cool till 2:52am" thing.

Zerospin... like a year ago you posted a thread about you selling your ECLIPSE.

Just coincidental, but funny you started both threads about two different eclipses a year apart..
 
Shit that was scary. My laptop battery died. But I got an extention cord so were good now. Ya its almost totally covered. Its red and awesome. O yeah, and about selling my eclise, yeah im an eclipse guy i guess. I actually have another eclipse now too. haha
 
holy friggin shit it looks like friggin mars right now, crazy shit. i wish my camera was friggin working, it broke in manual mode haha.. if i could find some binoculars i'd take photos on y phone thru them. looks cool, creepy in a way. kinda expecting a UFO to fly over my house rite now
 
Cheah. my cam friggin broke in manual mode, i was setting it for the low light. shitty old cam, but still okay. and then it BROKE. its lookin real sick right now [from vancouver]
 
Yeah. From San Francisco I'm sure I'm seeing something pretty similar.

i swear, is it like glowing and stuff? or are my eyes just tricking me?

it was glowing real bright before... it was razy
 
yeah.. as you can see.. when I still had some light, it was somewhat clear..

as soon as it became pretty much all red, it got wicked blurry.
 
normally i dont stay up this late to watch shit like this... it aint my stuff but tonight was pretty cool.

i swear ive seen something like... a few years back, looking at the sunset, i wasnt sure if it was the moon or sun, but it was a crazy ass HUGE... i mean HUGE red/orange glowing ball. i could look directly at it, so i assumed it was the moon. any of you see this? it was def. a few years back. i was like... wtf? it was huge, i tell you. like, just by the horizon, real low and close. and wai, gimme a sec i think a guy s trying to break into a miata outside. he's been standng by the car for like 10 mins, by the door
 
Wow, I just came in from outside on the sidewalk with my laptop. Then I go to the window to check on the moon, and 5 MONSTER fuckin raccoons are just wonderin down the sidewalk like a fuckin gang. I coulda died if I was out there.

And WOW your shitty pictures and better than my shitty pictures. and yours looks differnet because the red worked its way from the upper left to the lower right. But nice pics
 
dude, this guy i think is jacking a car. he stood by the side where the lock usually is for like 10 mins, hes finlly in, and he's now leaning into it for like.... 10 mins. trying to hotwire?

now he's taking photos of something.. another car's plate. he's not taking photos of the moon... o

ok.. nw he's driven off with the miata.

back on topic. moon's glowing again. crazy
 
holy crap thats sick ass. this eclipse is lastin a while... i have no idea whatsoever about stars/eclipses and crap... how long they supposed to last?
 
same. i dont feel like going to bed though... i dont feel that tired, but sort of yawning occasionally. physically i feel fine too, even after a training sesh today
