The local longboarding phenom

ridiculous riding. the no knee or elbow pads makes me cringe. going 40-50 and wiping out onto pavement with nothing on your elbows or knees cannot be much fun.

every time I see a video like this it makes me want to fly these kids out here and see what they can do in some canyons.. feel like they could get some INSANE footy

I have said it before, and I'll say it again, as cool as this is, longboarding is meant to be people just flossing down huge hills and busting out mean slides around some hair pins. If you wanna do tricks do it on a normal size board instead of some luggy ass long board. This is coming from a skateboarder (a real one) so when I see shit like this it's really just not very impressive to me. However his slides and one foot slides really were sick the big spins and tre flip are really just like, cool dude could you do that into a tailslide on a 2 foot ledge? because that'd be way fucking cooler.
 
I will forward your comment to him. He will most likely oblige to your request and add those tricks in his next video. I do not just throw the word phenom around. Question: He will probably also ask me; Can you Hotassbeatclap or anyone you know for that matter big spin and tre flip off a two foot ledge?
 
I know exactly what he is saying. He is calling out one of the best longboarders in America. I almost posted my haters gonna hate pic on him. C'mon man, Michael is 14. Any board you hand him he will try some tricks on. He can do stair sets and other tricks, but he loves to longboard; and he is one of the best. BOOK IT DANNO!!!
 
Listen. I love to longboard. I do it for a number of hours every week. However, I still believe it is solely a means of transportation. If you want to do flip tricks and spins you should just seriously skateboard. I'm not saying I was not impressed by this video. Kid surely knows what he is doing on a longboard. However, longboarding and flip trick stuff just all seems stupid.
 
You do realize I was talking about doing that on a real skateboard right? not a long board. And yes I can do both of those tricks off a lot larger things than a two foot ledge, you should go back and read that first comment so you REALLY understand the point I was getting across.
Basically keep longboarding what it is flossing down big hills and busting out crazy slides, not fucking going down a small hill in a residential neighborhood doing bigspins on an oversized skate board it jut looks retarded. Save tricks like that for real skateboarders that actually do them and make it cool.
Referring back to my first comment, it's a lot cooler to see someone on a skateboard do a bigspin into a tail slide on a 2 foot ledge than it is to see some kid do awkward tre flips on a small hill.
I hope this comment is easier to read for you. There is no hate on this kid or longboarding he obviously enjoys what he is doing and does it well. I'm just saying the "tricks" he does on his longboard are just lame, i'd much rather see someone bombing a hill on a LB than seeing some kid do wack tre flip on board that's too big.

Why the fuck does it matter. Im assuming its a lot harder on a longboard and he enjoys it more. You are pretty much saying doing skateboarding tricks on anything but a skateboard is dumb, should people stop wakeskating too?

Seriously, if you take the time to read any of my posts in here, I'm not hating on the kid's love of longboarding, or long boarding at all. There are things you can do on a long board that you can't on a skate board and vice versa. Such as riding down a hillside going 50+ and sliding around a hairpin like a steez machine, you just can't do that on a skateboard. However, on a "REAL" skateboard you can big flip a 15 and you can't on a longboard.

The two shouldn't overlap. It's impressive that this kid can tre flip on a long board, but it looks stupid, It'll never be as impressive IN MY EYES (my opinion see? not saying in everyones eyes just mine) as a real trick on a real skateboard.
It also pisses me off when I meet some fucking 17 year old retard with an ego the size of a astro van and he is like oh yeah I skate brah I skate real hard brah. It's like really where do you skate? Oh i skate down my parents street with my bros, yeah I ride a long board dude. Fucking loaded for life brah it's so much doper than a real skateboard.
You don't skate, you fucking stand on a clunky ass piece off wood and let it do the work for you.
Sorry I hurt so many feelings, why don't you all go "bomb" your street wearing some flip flops and a tank top. Maybe it'll get your minds off the fact you can't ride around on a regular skateboard and do real tricks that actually take years of practice and determination.

dude you completely read the kids comment wrong and you still have no idea what you are talking about. He said treflip ON (not off) a two food ledge (meaning slide it) and he said TAILSLIDE which is physically impossible on a longboard because they do not have tails.

I liked the video and think the kid is insane btw, but you need to stop being so argumentative, its making your comments less credible because you are not acting open to others' opinions, rather you just refute them right off the bat.

 
If anything, I think it's cool when I see anybody at all doing any kind of skating. I feel like there are a lot of people in the world who don't do anything with their time. Why not go tell them how they're doing things wrong instead of hating on other people for skating? If you're as into skating as much as you say you are, I would have thought that you'd have gotten over the elitist attitude by now.
