What about Vinnie Dorion @ Summer X in San Fran(not sure about location)when they had the big air there? He was left off of the original 1080 team and drove out on his own to show the Salomon suits that he belonged on that team as much as Auclair, Cusson, or Douglas, and I'm pretty sure he threw fakie 9's, among other tricks. I know I'm nitpicking, but still, give credit where credit is due.

Line=sick they kick ass... i support them so much, how they got started is so incredible and whats cool is in the beginning Jay Lev said he skied at Jiminey Peak, i dont ski there often but its like 30 mins from my house, its cool to think is thats where it started!

whoever said line is hurting...that was retarded. i stopped in the burlington factory on my way home from jay peak, and on the wall they have the sales reports stapled. i forget the numbers, but this year, sales went up 211%. absolutly sick company.

I absolutly hate it when peolpe try to rip line apart. i was at a ski shop, and talkin to the guy and he was sayin he hopes the problems with the binding put the company out of buisness. Hey buddy, i ride Lines. And, to anyone who says lines suck, and thier too soft, the 1080 is too soft. my 1260s are like twice as stiff as 1080s. And, Lines are the lightest skis made. Soooo easy to spin on.

yea lines are nice..... i only have them cuz they were on sale..... i dont see any diffrence with any ski.... i just ride them..... some people are all hyped cuz they have a choice of what ski to get..... i had to drive 2 hours to a shop that didnt know what a 'twin tip' ski was.... but then i saw the only pair of twins i had ever seen and they were on sale so i bought them..... they just happened to be lines...... if they were K2's or salomons then i would be just as happy.... it doesnt matter what my ski says on the top sheet it just matters what i can do on them and most importantly if im having fun on them......

it's called Line cuz originally Jay was gonna start at inline company and he thought of the name Line (il-LINE for u stupid ppl) but then he dicided to make skis instead and kept the name.

I think like is a great conpany. Whenever i call to order something, they are good people and give good help and never screw anything up. I also just broke my skis and they replaced them, even though they were passed warranty.

ive ridden lines, and i ride dynastars now, NOT 1080s becuase those shits are truely softer than lines and thats why i dont like them, lines are defiantely way to soft. thats why a lot of people dont like them. and as far as quality goes, last year i had line skis and they fell apart even though i took pretty godo care of them, when last years conecpts held up when i put them through fucking hell,only time the actually broke was from me dropping from about 6 feet onto a flat rail for about an hour or so. thats why dynastar is forever better than lines. stiffer and way better quality.

if you actually read the line story then you would see that without them newschool would exsist, because a few other companies came out with professionally made twins the same year line came out with their garage skis. nothing against line or anything. they must be a good ski to have such a sick team.

LINE isn't about a megamillion massive ski company who decided to start making twin-tips because their sponsored mogul skiers were begging them to... LINE isn't a huge company that cares about newschool so long as it puts money in the pocket. LINE is about one guy who built a ski press in his garage and started a company because he had a vision for a sport, and who to a great extent is responsible for the ski culture that we're a part of today.

I guess i like line because they're still fairly underground. almost everbody, including older folks know about rossignol, salomon and even dynastar. Line is still a core company that only makes twins. they're not interested in anything else. i would ski on anything if i got a pair for free but my pair of line skogen's were the best deal i could find so i went with them. ride what you want but at least respect what line has done for our sport.

Line is alright. I am not trying to take away from that here, but it truly discredits them when they have spelling and gramatical errors in their 'biography' of sorts. It makes them look stupid and they should proofread their stuff before they publish it.

I rode K2 before my Skogans, and before I got Lines swore by my K2s. Now I love the Lines. The yare soft, but they work really well in the park, thats what they were made for, not racing.

I'm 6 feet, 185lbs and they are great for me in the park and pipe. Same with in the powder, just as good as Enemies.

salomon makes skiboards. k2 makes skiboards. atomic makes skiboards. head makes skiboards. rossignol makes skiboards. i don't like skiboarding either, but if companies that make skiboards should die, us skiers wouldn't have anything left to ride on. give line a break.

I like my Lines, too. I dont think there is a huge difference between any ski. A good skiier should be able to adjust to the flex, chatter, wandering that all skis have to some extent. These days if you cant make a ski work, its probably not the ski that sucks - its the person on the ski...

 
bibski, thank you for putting that out there- i DO NOT ride lines, becuase i dont trust a company that has only been at it for less than half a decade- i ride k2 because of their good skis and reputable service. im not saying i hate line, i just dont have a preference. and East_Coast_Style, what the fuck man- ill agree that line's are a light ski, but the 1260 stiffer than the 1080? come on- no fucking way. the 1080 is way stiffer, way more versatile for all mountain conditions. and for those of you calling salomon's a piece of shit, take a look at whos standing on the podiums for halfpipe comps, and who will likely be standing on the podiums this ocming weekend- thovex fucking annihalated (sp) the field with his salomon skis, granted they were produced especially for him, but nonetheless, they still made a good ski. i'm still i fan of the pocket rocket as well, that was a great ski, and now their new AK Rocket is a force to be reckoned with. so if you hate everyone else for ripping on Line, think abotu who you're ripping on- chances are you're doign the exact same.
