The line maverick

Is it any good? Im lookin for a park ski thats light, but can also ski moguls good. The line maverick seems to be cheap and perfect for what i want, but at that price im just wondering if it has any major flaws.

 
The mavrick seems alot more solid than previous line skis. Still I have serious doubts, lines tend to delam like a bitch and if you're beatin them down in mogul runs i bet they'd be toast in a year at best

lines used to delam a lot. since then theyve improved the construction of their skis, and now they are a lot better.

if you take good care of your skiis.. they wont delam that easily.. the onld sidwall line were more durable than some of you think. they had more of the capped ones sent back to them then the sidewall ones. (mabey cause they sold more, i donno)

Well the skis are a ton better than in previous years. And does it really matter if they delam? The way I see it is Line has the best warrenty in the market and will replace it for free. Basically, if they a broken, send them in at the end of the season and get next years model for free. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

The Mavericks aren't really what you're looking for. If you want a park ski that's good in moguls, the new 1260 is seemingly better. My friend has the mavericks and they are:

a) heavier than 1260s

b) smaller back tip than 1260s

c) not very good looking

o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o

and when your skiing and there is snow on them, the fact that they are not good looking wont matter at all. and the lower tail is about the same as the concepts and 1080s

The mavericks are good for what you want. There's nothing wrong with them cause of the price, the only real difference is the rear tip and the core. The tip means next to nothing, the concept and k2 enemy have pretty much the same tip and there's no prob there in the park. and so far as the core it's just not the tight core that are in the pro models, not a big deal. That guy that said something about gettin 1260's instead is retarded, get the mavericks, they'll do just fine in the park too. That delam thing is nothing, this year Line is up to par now and won't delam anymore than any other brand.
