The Line Bindings

I went to my local shop, and a dude working there wanted me to get him a pair of last years Line Bindings. He has a line rep and everything, but obviously if they arent re-issed they cant sell them right? Now I told him that they were sorta defective and that they would break peoples legs n shit. He still insisted that If I could find him a pair to buy them for the store so he could sell them (most likely to some rich parents who buy them with some Line skis)... Anyways, don't you think that this is a little fucked up? He knows that they have been taken off the shelves and he still wants to sell a pair? I mean i wanted to get a job at this shop, but now that I think about it, I dont even know anymore... shady, or am I just thinkin about it to much?

theyre crooked fucks at shops man, i went to a shop in kemptville ( near ottawa) and there was a pair of lines there that i was interested in buying and they were 460bucks with a pair of rossi bindings but i didnt need bindings so the owner guy whips out his calculator to look all smart and professional and tells me he'll give me a good price on just the skis so the price he gives me is 460bucks! i wasnt to impressed with that shit so i walked out of there in a fury

Euh, ta boîte.

yeah that is gay lateris...... you would think ski shops would be supportive to other skiers, but no of course not. Everything these days has to be a good damn fucken business and I hate it. It seems as if everything is to good to be true, and that everyone is just in it for the money. Well not everyone, but gay racer shops who throw a few pairs of twin tips in, order some poor boy movies and think they know whats up. Whatever, I guess im just sick of living in GAY ass CT where there seems there is no progression. I am graduating college in a year and thinking about opening my own freeride shop... half ski half snowboard in the future.... maybe up in Burlington VT.. think its possible or am i dreamin'?

yeah shops like D-Structure are different though. they are shops with dudes who run it, just like us. For the progression, giving you good prices, good service and just makin the ski industry better as a whole.. I wish there was a shop like that everywhere
