5 roommates

small appartment. each with own bedroom.

at home i got a pretty big house in a small city

Live 10 minutes east of downtown Toronto, 900 sq ft house with my mom and baby sister. Go to school full time and work after school and weekends.

the correct title of this thread would be "the life you live thats 100% funded by your parents".

give it 5 or 10 years, you'll understand why suddenly groceries, rent, and bills are more important the newest jibberish hoody or pimping out your oakley crowbars.

i rent out a basement where i live with my dog. i work 3 jobs (one full time, 2 part time). and im trying to find time too woo a girl, ski, and chill with the friends.

but since my home mtns not even open yet(and not opening until next saturday), i cant ski too much right now

yeah, ~1000ft basement suite in vancouver with my boyfriend and roomie (love them) going to school, poor as fuck but i get to ski whistler every weekend and the north shore weekly in the winter while going to school full time. (no time for a job, worked 60+ hours a week for that in the summer)

born on the east coast, went to middle school and the first part of high school in new mexico. graduated high school on the big island of hawaii, took a year off, lived in telluride, CO, worked for the mountain, ski bummed. lived for shorter amounts of time in tokyo and santa barbara. now go to college in colorado and live in both new mexico and on kauai.

chilling with my dogs on kauai as i write this.

Born in pennsylvania, lived there my whole life traveling a lot with my family. My dad's a contractor so we moved around a lot, but ended up in a 5k square foot home next to cows and cornfields.

at 18 i moved out to breckenridge, and thats where i'm living now, in a 2 bedroom with 3 people. Learning some life lessons i suppose = ]

But loving every minute of it

I live in a dorm room thats probably the size of your closet at a state school in CT. I'm currently unemployed which sucks. I saved all of high school so i payed for this year of college in cash, and the residual money pays for me to ski every weekend, but its running out quick. I really need a job.

wow. people in milton and other rich suburburban towns need to stop claiming boston as their home. you are at least 20 minutes from boston and its a totally different lifestyle. you live by huge houses, farms, and mini-malls. boston is totally different from your rich, protected town.

I am 16 and a junior in high school

I live 2/3rds of the time with my mom in suburban Boston, where is also where I go to public school

That house is 3000 sq. feet

My dad lives in Boston, on the waterfront in a 900 sq foot apartment (it takes about an hour to get from my moms to my dads, and that is without much traffic).

My parents have been divorced since 5th grade, my mom freaks out about everything, and my dad chose a new life in the city with his new wife (has said that he puts her over me)

Mehh Overall it isn't bad, I know I have a lot more than most people in this country or world, so I am thankful for what I have.

Whenever shit is annoying me I know that I can always go riding and that will clear my thoughts.

just turned 19.

living at home with my parents, brother, and sister. 2k sqft house in utopia.

going to community college, pulling all A's and one B. , i worked a minimum of 40hours a week all summer except the 2 weeks i spent on vacation. have also been putting in an average of about 16 hours a week from September until now. i pay for everything from food (except family food, a big one i know) keep gas in my car (which i payed 100% cash for, ALL ME) i pay for 70% of my college education. if i want it, i buy it, cant even remember the last time my parents just gave me money because i wanted it.

o i do spend a month every year vacationing, (im a lucky bastard i know :) (and a claim lol)

The concept of my mom giving me money for any reason other then to buy us groceries has become completely foreign.

3500 square foot house, freshman in high school, live where it can be 115 in the summer and 32 in the winter, right at the base of the Sierras, hour away from a ski area, have to work for a lot of my stuff.

i am in transition from a small cabin on the river in a town that is cold and has no skiing to a slightly larger condo type thing in the best ski town in the world. an atypical high school student for only 13 more days and then I pack the rest of my shit up and become a ski bum.

exactly, they pay for the food in the kitchen i eat said food. lol. they do pay for my health insurance, and i pay for half of my car insurance.

-second year university student, straight A-live at home with parents, two siblings, great relationships with all of them, 8000 sq. ft-currently unemployed (due to school), work at a skate shop during the summers, travel frequently
