such a fucking ploy....the album is released TOMORROW. so does that mean zero hardcopy albums have been printed because he just finalized the title? has he switch artwork every time since he's gone from SWISH to WAVES to TLOP? of course not....TLOP has been the title since day 1 West has just been pulling out every stop in the book to bring more publicity. (which is honestly not needed considering there is a story about him in every fucking mainstream hip-hop/fashion blog on the daily.)

Kanye is a joke to me at this point. how he has turned himself into this fashion god/rap mogul/pop culture mega star is completely beyond me. The man has some amazing music (dropout, registration and graduation) and has an incredible touch as a producer but the amount of PR he gets these days blows my mind.

If you think Real Friends and No More Parties in LA aren't fantastic songs then you don't deserve to listen to hip-hop. Not opinion, fact. Those songs are masterpieces by anyone's standards.

Also, the influence he has had on the fashion industry and especially streetwear culture in the US and worldwide has been massive. But whatever, to each their own. He's not concerned with the haters lol.

i looked up the rest of the lyrics for that song and i swear a kid in 7th grade could come up with a more creative piece of writing than that.

yeah the gangster image that most rappers put on themselves is a little ridiculous the song writing and word play is pretty incredible. you gotta respect them for that.

just discovered gibbs? i've been listening to him since esgn and pinata is one of my favorite "recent" rap albums. clearly you didn't (or don't know how to) read any of much response because i never said anything about Real Friends or Parties....they're decent. just not as good as his previous work. and i clearly said he is a huge influence in fashion; in such a huge way it's ridiculously overhyped. are you all defensive because you got hustled into buying some boosts?

I don't own a single piece of high end clothing or fashion. Closest thing to would be a Black Scale crewneck I copped half price on Primitive's website. So no, I'm not defensive at all. If you cared to read my post.. I didn't claim anything to be great about his fashion or influence in pop culture, just that to deny he has been a force is foolish. My homie has a Yeezy season 1 shirt he paid $340 for and I told him he looks like a hobo. But you seemed to be talking shit about his music and new album which is just foolish because it's great hip-hop. And that is a fact.

What I said was that Real Friends, and No More Parties in LA are great songs by anyone's standards who knows anything about hip-hop. That is a fact. His fashion, influence, what you or I think about him, etc.. is all opinion. I think Kanye is a dope artist and his fashion designs look stupid except the Yeezy Boost's are fresh. But who am I to judge if he is hanging with Ralph Lauren and showcasing his clothes all over the world obviously fashion is a crazy industry and people often see weird edgy shit as high fashion so idk but you can't refute his music.

And to anybody posting anything pertaining to "FACTS" you gotta realize he made that song in probably 24 hours just to talk some shit.

I liked the original cut of wolves better.

Ultra light beam is amazing, but imma have to listen to the album a couple more times before I can really tell if I like it. I like a lot of the songs but as a whole I don't know

This is just speculation because I'm not wasting time to look into it, and I don't give a shit about rap music being released or Kanye West.

But if I was to assume he doesn't actually own the music he most likely has a deal with a record label, and in the contract he signed with them. If somebody's going to offer him a legitimate offer over a certain amount of dollars for the music the lable owns. He has to go to the Board of Directors and tell them about the offer. The record label doesn't care about what the public wants they care about making money. Just like how a lawyer is legally obligated to tell his client any offers or plea bargains offered to him even if the lawyer doesn't want to do. Again that's just what I assume.

I can certainly get down to kanye, hell one of the first songs i memorized on piano was homecoming. but that doesn't mean I'm all awestruck over him. I just think its funny how he'll get away with whatever he wants. i mean you can't deny that mansion with green grass surrounding isn't the best example to set? And that president speech at the vma's or whatever it was made him look like a complete dumbass. js i still like and respect the guy, for creating his own path. but theres reason to disagree with certain pieces about him

I was thinking about this today and It would actually be the perfect cover for being able to launder 15 million dollars while being under investigation.

Thats what I would do if I knew I was going to lose almost everything I'd say i just got scammed out of 15 million dollars in bitcoins and it cant be traced, that would pretty much be the end of that. I now have 15mill hidden in an offshore acount.
