The Level 1 Grey Striped Crew

To ask for free stuff when you've been offered a full refund is an asshole thing to do. Level 1 is doing the right thing by making sure people still want the crew. If people choose to continue with their order that is their choice and there is no reason to give them free stuff. Sure it would be nice but I wouldn't get to butt hurt about it. And to people complaining about the colors you should realize that pictures of sketches always differ from the actual pieces of clothing.
 
im sure there is a way to fill in the little gap like with a mini white screen print over itim just shooting it out there but I'm sure something is possible
 
I think this is awful quality control by Jiberish. They know what the Level 1 logo looks like, they should have spotted the first crews coming off the line and been like SHIT lets fix this
 
Kinda strange, this sweater has the same cuffs like old jiberish, the regular jiberish hoods cuffs are fixed and are more loose
 
Fuck man, I didn't even notice the gap until I read through the thread. And in my opinion, the new colors look a lot better than the mock up. This is obviously far above Josh's head, and I'm sure they did/are doing everything they can to relieve the situation. The fact that they informed you of the changes and gave you the option to acquire a refund is just stand up customer service. They very well could've just sent them out and been done with it, because after all, you ordered a product loosely based on an animated computer drawing.
 
I think that this is pretty weak that there is not a discount on these given that the logo is messed up and the colors are jacked.

Its just a little disheartening that they are willing to distribute sub par clothing to their customers (me).

I would have much rather gotten an email saying "hey, the factory fucked these up. We only want to put our name on QUALITY items and we're making them redo the crew necks." I'd be willing to wait another 8 weeks or whatever for the CORRECT sweater. But really, Josh? Can't even ship the right logo?
 
But at the same time Josh sent out an E-Mail to everyone who ordered the gray stripe crew letting them know everything that was wrong with it and letting them know that if they would no longer like to purchase it that level 1 can cancel their order and give a full refund. No one is going to get the crew neck unless they want it. Josh was even allowing people to change their order for the other crew neck. Level 1 did more than enough for the customers IMO.
 
I really don't feel like Level 1 is in the wrong here.
Josh sounds like he is being legit about all this (like he usually is), and somewhere along the line it looks like the logo from the black hoodie (with a gap for the zipper) got thrown on the grey striped crew. Jiberish fucked up, and Josh is being more than accommodating to the people who bought the crews.
The fucked up models which people didn't want will probably end up online for cheaper eventually.
BTW I don't mind the color change, but I would be pissed about the gap had I ordered one
 
you guys realize that it is beyond legit to do what josh did, you can't expect that out of a lot of companies. most will accept a return if you initiate it yourself, but to send an e-mail to all the customers saying that is really really legit
 
Yeah this is what I was thinking. Last years L1 crew had issues aswell, and this year had this major defect.

I like how it says that all the athletes and workers are stoked on it, well no shit you would be stoked on anything if it was handed to you for free
 
The "legit" thing to do as all of you are mentioning; would be to return these to the manufacturer as THEY ARE NOT RIGHT. How is pawning off DEFECTIVE merchandise for $80 bucks legit? I just don't see it. The only reason that email went out is because they KNEW they couldn't ship these without a whole hell of a lot of returns.

I read his email like this "We messed up the crew necks. Do you still want it? If not, someone else will pay full price and we could care less about getting a quality product to you. Take it or leave it."

How is that legit guys? Level 1 is my favorite company too but this is stupid.

Here is what I translated above.... I forgot to make fun of the "super-limited edition" line. What a laugh. It should read "super-defective, not gonna get it right line".

I'm SOOO grateful that they will take my money whenever I want to give it to them. And I'm SOOOO grateful that I am not getting what I ordered.
 
heres the problem chiefthe Crews are made in China in bulk. therefore chinese workers don't know what Level 1 is and don't know thats the wrong logo + there was no one from Jiberish or Level 1 to observe how the production was coming along so they couldn't stop the line. If they printed it like that it's cuz thats what they were told to do.
 
no, any legit company would have done the same thing. i just ordered some ski with bindings. turns out they were mounted but unused. the company calls me and asks if i still want them, i say "yes", then they knock of 25% off the total cost for their fuck up. level1 should have done something similar
 
can people stop bitching about it seriously? it's not a big deal if you spent $80 and don't like it then cancel your order! you have that option. no you're not going to get free shit from a company, it's not their fault. it's a fucking hoodie. chances are you bought it way to big anyway and you're skiing in it. whos going to take the time to look at it and say " omfzzzzz hiz h0odi3 izzzz speltttt wr0ng" it's a little gap its will be folded over by the many of folds in your hoodie because you bought it 3xl. so please shut up. it's not a huge deal it's still dope as fuck
 
I am still keeping it , its dope. But for the people that still want it they should at least give them a free sticker or somthing ... Its still a default even if u still buy it.
 
I just wanna say that Level1 is LEGIT AS HELL!!! They're working round' the clock responding to everyone's emails lightening fast. This is obviously an issue beyond their control and they're handing it in the most professional way they can. They responded to my e-mails lightening fast and changed my order from the grey stripe crew to the 10yr and shipped it out thismorning. Thanks Level1! Now i can go back to college knowing that my crew is at my doorstep, jea!

seriously Level 1 is the MOST LEGIT company, but this whole issue has me in a kerfluffle. I was super stoked on the renderings and wanted to order the crew but had no cash. My gf ordered it for me for christmas as a surprise, and then when this happened i told her i was glad i didnt order, and she told me she had and then cancelled it after i told her i was glad. Super dissappointed but i dont know what to do, i dont think level 1 could have handled this any better, but i wouldnt have been more stoked than to get a proper crew for christmas after they sold out.
I dont know what to do...
 
thats not what i was saying. you said we should be grateful for supporting sick companies. think about that, that a really dumb thing to say, why should we be grateful?
 
yeah i honestly think most kids would be bitching much more if leve E 1 recalled the crew and it took another 8 weeks to get here
 
yea that would suck. Level 1 is the best they know its screwed up so they gave everyone an option. I think it looks fine. Its not that big of a deal. Props to level 1 they have answered all my questions and have gotten back to me the same day. I think they handled it all well. If you dont want it now cancel it and get your money back
 
The theory that its the hoodie file is the best, look at the "level 1" on the hoodie and look at the crew, they are identical, just different colors
 
Guys - i'm not sure of everyone's age, but i'm a 29 yr old engineer - where QA/QC is THE most important part of my job when it comes to building huge equipment, tiny tiny errors are unacceptable - and they should not be accepted.
IT"S NOT SHOW-FRIENDS - IT"S SHOW BUSINESS.
Jibberish - and there representatives at the manufacturing plant / factory in China, have f***ed up somewhere along the line. This has NOTHING to do with Level 1, they're trying to keep you lot happy, whilst probably seeking compensation from Jibberish's suppliers / designers / the factory. We do not know where along the line this slipped through, but it is unacceptable to Level 1 first and foremost - forget you lot, Berman etc must be tearing their hair out with this after the year they've had, and i'm sure they realise that.... and are working on it right now. You place an order for XX hundred crews and they all turn up wrong, you're not going to be happy. They have no choice but to say to you guys take it or leave it (although discounts would be the right way forward).
Moral of this story - don't get anything made in China!! :-)
It'll all work out, you are all consumers and have the right to accept, decline or ask for a discount.
This is all a very unfortunate situation, however i doubt Jibberish or level 1's rep will be seriously tarnished, it's more of an annoyance then anything else.
 
You're a fucking tool. You have been offered a full refund what else do you want? Level 1 cannot just send these back and tell the manufacturer they want more and expect them to have them done in a week. Learn how a business works before you start bitching. Even if it is the manufacturer's fault it will be a bitch getting them to refund the money. Take the hoodie or leave it but don't bitch about a company who is trying to do their best at accomdating asshole customers like you.
 
you guys act like they wanted this too happen and Level 1 did it on purpose. Im pretty sure they are just as pissed as us, becuase they had prolly been waiting just as long as us for this crewneck and then it comes all fucked up. How they handled the issue is like no other company, they emailed you asking if you still wanted to go ahead and place your order. Level 1 is the most legit company there is. No other company would have done that, and because of how they handled themselves is the reason that i will keep purchasing their products.

I had ordered it also, and was disapointed with the gap it looks like love e 1 to me, which is obviously not what i wanted, but around lastnight at midnight i sent josh a few emails in which he got back with in 10 mins each time. L1 is doing the best they can to make right of a shitty ass situation, i was happy they gave me the option, i wouldnt have really wanted to wait another 2 months for a new one taht was correct so i switched to the 10 yr
 
I pre-ordered it way back when in xxl, and i got a confirmation email. but last night i didnt recieve an email about still being interested. id ne one else in my position. Also a day after i ordered it on around nov 5 i emailed them askin if i could upgrade to xxxl and they never got back to me.?
