i have a choice, i can get the krypton cross (305$), pro(355$), or rampage(399)

price is kinda an issue but i could get the rampage if i really wanted to, i know the difference between the rampage and the cross, prety much just color. but what about the pro? is it better than the cross or just different? what would you get? i want my boots light because the rest of my setup is heavyish. also if you know of any stores in vancouver/whistler that carries any of these boots or any dalbello boot please tell me because i cant find any. my boots right now are rossi softs if anyones interested in buying them then pm me.

thanks for the input

the kryptons fit some ppl and dont fit others i personally dont fit them, they all work for how they are intended the lock in your heel, try them in comparison with the magnesiums, definatly dont buy them without trying them first

Theres a really easy way to decided this. if you cant decide between the cross and the pro. Then the pro isnt for you. So now all you have left is the cross or rampage. Both pretty much the same boot.. so try em on and see which on you prefer

hey ive got a pair of ramages and rpos' for sale...rampages were used for a season so they are only $175 while the pro's are completely brand spankin new in the box and they are $300 shipped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sick boots priced to sell!

For stores in vancity I think comor will have them, i know snowcovers doesnt have them and those are the only stores i really go to.

rossi boots usually fit a medium width foot. there aren't a lot of boots out there that fit a narrow foot, so he may have had to comprimise with the rossignol until he had the opportunity to get the pro. it's not that big of a deal, but i don't know his situation.

secondly, the rampage/kross/pro are all essentially the same boot. they all fit the same, and there is no difference in volume between the three. the kross/pro shell is made from a stiffer plastic than the rampage. the rampage and the kross have the same medium flex tounge. the pro comes with both the medium and a stiffer tounge, along with spoilers and stiff/soft bootboards. the liner is the same in all three models.

what would be the advantage of having a stiffer/softer shell? weight, durability, flex? and your saying that the pro is the same as the cross/rampage except it comes with extra stuff?

just stiffer.

a softer boot is usually preferred for jibbing and park skiing. stiffer boots are usually preferred for more all-mountain skiing, but it's all personal preference.

some people like stiff boot sin the park, and some people like soft boots period.

oh, and the kryptons are available with an intuition burrito wrap liner for an extra $50. i'm not sure if it's just for the pros or what the deal is, but there is no reason the liner wouldn't work with any of the 3 boots.

the intuitions are much warmer, lighter, and baked for a perfect fit to your exact foot. highly recommended.

According to the new catalogue the Rampage and Cross have the same flex and the Pro is stiffer. For Rampage vs Cross, they are identical except that the Cross has a better liner and the Rampage has fur and the inverted lower buckle. Definitely go for the Cross, the Rampage should cost less.

what catalogue? does it show all the specs of everything? i liked how the rampage looks but if the cross is better than thats what ill get, the pro sounds too stiff and i want more on the softer side, if they even fit

okay i have a 11 1/2 inch foot (29 mondo) my softs are 27.5 and my toes are hitting the end lightly, but shoudlnt my feet be way too big if there 29?? im getting the rampages but im not sure if i should get size 28 or 26?? i have lots of money, and the deal at tramdock is so good i could just sell them off if they dont fit. the store i want to try them oon at will have them middle of sept. would the deal at tramdock last that long? wat do i do

I normally wear size 10 shoe (so 27.5-28 mondo) and 27.5 were too big for me once they packed out. I just bought some 26.5 Rampages, and my toes are pushed up a little, but they should be fine when the boot packs out. So, to answer your question, it's not abnormal for a 27.5 boot to fit a size 11.5 foot. It's a shame tramdock doesn't have a 27. That seems to me like it would be best for you, though a 27.5 wouldn't be bad.

^yeah.. I have an 11 size foot.. wearing a 28.5 lange right now. But wanna get into a 27.5 rampage... which should fit perfect.

which ones are the green ones next year? the cross?

ya i know, who bought them? theres nowwhere else to get them now, i might try to fit into a 28

shit i just remesured my foot and its 10 1/2, i fucked up, 10 1/2 inches is a size 10 us/canada shoe aka 26.6 mondo so im thinking that a 26.5 would be perfecto for me if it fits... wats the instep on the rampages??

i dont like posting so much but it has to be done

and i think the green ones are pros,

^yeah they are sick. I would go for the old 28.0's but they wouldn't be a whole lot different than what I got now.. damn! I shoulda got those 27.5's the other day when they still had 'em.

I'm gonna try to get the grn ones.
