no lie he is one of my friends cosins by marriage..he sent him a bunch of free shit like skatboard decks and he also stayed at his house in cali over the summer.just thought i would share
 
wow, i thought the game tony hawks was unrealistic, but now i know that all the stuff in the game can be done, and much much MUCH more
 
duff wasnt first he just the first to fucking kill it danny way used be the techest skater back in the day he owns part of rds which is a block from my house and the footy from downtown van is ridicolous 3flip noseblunt
 
i would believe you if you said he wasnt killing it like prod and koston but say his progression isnt amazing is ignorant his progression is the reason the sport is what it is without mullen CREATING pretty much every flip trick where would skating be and i bet your a kid like oh prod can triple kickflip so he must be the best when in fact ask any pro and they would BOW to mullen he's a legend
 
shuuuuuuut the fucccck up man. the fact that he mentions rowley means he knows a little more about skating than you think. rodney is annoying, his parts are the same. incredible flip in flip out manual shit but thats about it. i was more impressed by appleyards nollie heel crooks in flip sorry!(if i am thinking of the right trick..) that shit was way beyond anybody else...just one example of people that blow rodney out of the water
 
... in tranny. You have to admit, an ollie in a qp and a flat ground ollie have little similarity. Mullen took the ollie to the flat, and Gonzales to the street.
 
rodney mullen made skateboarding what it is today? is that some kind of joke? tell me how many skaters you see doing the shit mullen does. None. He claims alot of tricks, like the flat-ground ollie, the kickflip and the 360 flip, but they all existed way before rodney. He does have crazy board control, rediculous balance, and some pretty crazy skills, but he probably has less influence on modern skateboarding that any other pro-skater. he hasn't done anything for skateboarding today (well, there is one tiny exception involving Daewon Song and Chad Muska, but that's a story way too intelligent for this thread)
 
if you mean in the realm of physical possibility, then yes, they did exist before rodney. But he was the first to make them and figure out how to do them, so please, shut up.
 
inventing the nollie flip isnt progression...taking an ollie down stairs like gonz did for the first time is...
 
im not even gunna try argueing in here anymore, too many thick headed morons who simply wont beleive theres more to skateboarding than rodeny mullen.
